What you’d expect from an inner city hotel. Even on the 5th floor the noise of the city was prominent. The bed was comfy and, once I’d figured out how to turn the aircon off, a reasonable temperature at night.

Regular go to hotel for when in Birmingham, only disappointment this time was even though we waited to check in at 3pm as rooms were not ready one of the rooms hadn't even been cleaned and was given to us. Another room was organised but not really the best of starts.

We attended The English Wedding Awards and the Simply Devine Hat Shop won Accessories Supplier of the Year 2024!! We had 3 rooms for 6 guests. The staff were extremely lovely, the ladies who looked after us at breakfast were amazing. The service was second to none. Thank you. Hat's off to all at The Crowne Plaza Birmingham (excuse the hat pun!!!).

Clean, safe hotel. Great security late at night . Only confusion I would say is the car park. Notices say you can't park in the numbered bays but you can.

Great place to stay, very convenient for Christmas markets, shopping and eating out and less than 10 minutes walk to New Street Station. We only ate Breakfast in the Hotel which was good and plentiful. The bar was well managed and all the staff we met from reception to dining to bar were all really pleasant and obliging. Nothing seemed too much trouble, would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you

Lovely convenient hotel. Easy check-in & given offer of IHG sign up to be allocated a room instantly. Not applicable to friends staying in family room, but it was a very busy weekend. Lifts do need to be remedied very soon, they are a law unto themselves, random stops & incredibly slow at busy times. Breakfast was hot, plentiful with friendly staff on hand to support, refill coffee & food stations. Plenty of seating for bar area in the evening.

Overall an okay hotel, definitely needs some TLC, our room had a vent full of dust which was blowing out. The carpark is quite expensive and not guaranteed, it took almost an hour to check out with no apology for the wait. There is ice machine which is a nice touch and the bed is comfy.

Nice hotel in convenient location
The hotel room and the bathroom are clean and spacious. The toiletries are lovely and more than enough for one night stay. Location is convenient to walk to places like New Street Station, Bullring and China Town.

Setting up for a bad start to the day
Baking hot room with aircon noisily blowing out 23•c air, and refusing to cool even when at 18, the lowest it will go. Hairdryer absolutely rubbish, about as effective as a 1 year old trying to blow out candles, and only working at all when continuously pressing a button. Women customers clearly not front of mind for this hotel group.

Nice and quiet location, handy for everything
Went to visit the Christmas markets and to do some shopping. Hotel in a great spot. Maybe a bit of a wander with your bags if you arrive by train but otherwise in a handy position and quiet. Really good breakfast. Nice room, enough space. Lifts are being upgraded. Nice restaurant area. Friendly staff

Lovely hotel
Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Tea/coffee, bottled water, biscuits and a chocolate each were provided. Breakfast was delicious. The only issues were the shower screen isn’t wide enough so loads of water goes on to the floor, and no sockets by the bed.

The staff were fab. All were very friendly, chatty and couldnt do enough for you. The breakfast choices were great and we ate dinner z couple of times and the food was lovely. Easy walk to the city centre and the train station. Would definately go here again.
