Its absolutely beautiful and so much to do in town or the surrounding area. The space Settled in the middle of Cuyahoga National forest/park. The Mott apartment is named after Orson J. Mott, who used the property for his blacksmith shop in the late 1800's. The charming apartment is located in historic downtown Peninsula, Ohio. Nestled in the heart of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park/forest it is walking distance to restaurants ,shopping, train depot and bike rentals. This home is within walking distance of the beautiful Cuyahoga river. A perfect getaway to relax and explore the beautiful nature trails and the surrounding area. The national park has hundreds of miles of hiking trails, biking trails, river walks, kayaking and amazing waterfalls. It was very clean and comfortable and well-stocked. The location in Peninsula was perfect for us as we were very close to Cuyahoga Valley National Park and we could walk to several restaurants. We rented bikes from the electric bike place next door and rode on the tow path in the park. That was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed our stay. My friend and I came from opposite regions in the country to meet in the middle at this beautiful place. Not only is the location absolutely perfect, being situated with the Cuyahoga Valley all around you, but place itself was a relaxing and quaint get away for us to recovery from our hiking and enjoy visiting with each other. I would love to come back and see more of the National Park and surrounding area. Rich was amazing to communicate with and made everything about renting this place easy and stress-free. The Bronson House is a historic home located minutes from downtown Peninsula. Restaurants, hiking, biking, and local shops were within walking distance. It was beautifully kept inside and out.
