Comfortable central small heritage hotel
Part of the Apple group in Penang, it’s a charming little hotel within easy walking of lots of restaurants, the historic centre and the pleasantly landscaped new waterside promenade. I had a single room which was perfectly adequate, had an extremely comfortable bed and overlooked the little garden courtyard. It was quiet at night and the staff were very friendly and helpful - particularly appreciated as my stay coincided with a stressful few days when the whole of Georgetown was without a water supply due to major engineering works. Will definitely return when in Penang.

Very expensive for what we got, we stayed at other hotel in kl for much cheaper and the quality of room was much higher. They have a unique decor thought but not worth the price. The color on the wall is very messed up and you can ear everything outside as if the window are not close. WiFi isn’t working half of the time and when it’s working it’s really slow. Also everything is a bit far.

Very Tired - desperately needs resorting.
Good location and Large rooms and comfy beds - but oh the condition of the general upkeep of the rooms/ building is very poor- ceilings have mould - carpets look like they have never been cleaned (really horrible) showers that work but very moldy. Lastly very noisy if on the left side - I was in room 116 and there is a disco next door that goes on to 0200-0300 - so noisy I had to change rooms.

Overall excellent. Only one thing is that sometimes you will be disturb or annoyed by the noise outside. And you might also hear noise from the other rooms. If you don’t care about noise, this is an excellent for you.

Nice Cozy Hotel
My family of 4 stayed in one room with 2 queen size beds. Room size is good. The hotel itself is small and quiet, didn't seem to have too many guests when I was there. Facilities are basic but I find it comfortable and pleasing.

Friendly and Cosy Boutique Hotel
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is very beautiful and luxurious. Bed especially comfy. Great location and easy accessible to great local foods. Will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

Ckecked in after 8. The lady at the desk was not very kind. Beds are very small my legs stuck out a foot. Had to walk up some old unsafe stair case to get to our room with bags in toe. No bell hop. No breakfast and not much around. Been traveling SE Asia for 6 weeks and have to say for the price not worth it. Moved to the Evergreen for the same price. They are wonderful there. As for photos not wasting room on my 128g Iphone lol.

We shall say that our bed dimensions are in line with the beds in most Malaysia and south east Asia hotels. This is a Heritage Hotel, hence we are preserving the original design and structure. We are sorry if the narrow staircase is a concern with you. You should have informed our front desk executive so that we could change another room without the narrow staircase for you. However most of our guests love the narrow staircase because that is one of the reasons they stay in our hotel, the Heritage feel of this hotel. Our staff does offer to help to carry the luggage and it was rejected by your friend. We never turn down our guests intentionally and you may ask our staff help to carry the luggage to your room. We do take pride in catering to our guests needs in best way. If you’re traveling to our area gain soon, don’t hesitate to call us. I can assure you that your next stay will be memorable. A HOTEL IN A GREAT LOCATION BUT LOUSY ROOM
We were located on the first floor and near to the reception area - Room 102. I must say that this is not a very good room. Firstly it's too near to the reception area so everytime when people gather there or check in it's very noisy. And what's so terrible that we couldn't get any good sleep for the all the 3 nights as the room upstairs was making so much noise, we hear footsteps all night, talking and etc..... Just sum it all VERY NOISY. We chose this hotel because of the Parking Facility.

Great location, beautiful hotel & very walkable.
Room was clean & great. The decor is excellent. Amenities however was lacking. There wasn't enough spoon for the tea & coffee set. I had to call for one. The other thing is courtesy, they had called in the middle of the night to bug us over a ridiculous charge of 100 ringgit. Make sure if you ever get a chance, do not book with this hotel. It's money hungry.

Comfortable stay in Penang
We stayed at Deluxcious over Labour Day weekend 2017. We picked one of the family suites, which comes with two excellent Queen size beds, which meant wonderful night sleep. The room comes with a refrigerator stocked with complementary bottles of water and soft drinks. Hair dryer, electric kettle, coffee and tea are also provided. There is a safe for your valuables. Great shower, nice hand and bath towels and complete toiletries are greatly appreciated. The hotel still has that "new" feeling to it, and the facility is kept very clean. Breakfast was not provided, but since the hotel is located within a few minutes walk to many restaurants, that we could easily find breakfast each morning. We liked the location of the hotel. It is approximately 20 minutes leisurely walk to heritage sites, which we could also get to by taxi or bus. And in the evening, we could enjoy the quiet area. Highly recommended!

very cute and kitsch hotel in a great central location. we could walk to a lot of places and restaurants and sights around us. the staff is very nice and speaks fluent English. the rooms are a bit small (we had a superior twin) but more than enough and clean. the interior is unique and great!

Best staffs ever!

Clean and Comfortable Victorian in Heritage Area
The owners have taken a nice old victorian building in the Heritage area of Penang and restored it nicely. So, if you've stayed at the Blue Mansion and enjoyed a great Chinese experience, you can enjoy a British experience at the Deluxious (at a budget price). The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Newly opened. Nice decor but VERY Noisy.
A few basic comforts missing. i.e Bathrobes. Some type of fruit or breakfast food should be available even if prepackaged muffins, yogurt etc.. No instructions as to where to turn on airconditioning, hot water etc. Lighting is lovely for 'mood' hopeless for reading. Staff are lovely, helpful and overall very pleasant - just not experienced.

Convenient and clean rooms
Room is good for those looking for clean and convenient hotels. Staffs are very helpful. Parking is ample within the vicinity which is very good. Locations is excellent. If not because of the hot weather, many places of interest is just walking distance.

Nice hotel for couple/ anniversary
The room kinda small but overall was ok. The room is clean and the bed is so comfortable. The blanket.. the pillows... I'm staying at the second floor. Glad I'm not staying the first because first floor would be much noisier. And lobby full of Indian smell
