"We enjoyed this oasis of quiet and stillness more than anticipated. Josh had very welcoming and it was easy to slip into a few days vacation at Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms are quiet, clean and comfortable. Escaping humidity and the mundane-ness of hotel stays was our goal, but we didn’t appreciate how the lodge helps you to stop and slow down. We used the kayaks, kitchen facilities and outdoor areas which were well maintained. Josh and Bianca were great hosts and we recommend a visit!"

"Love the Inn on the Wharf. We've been coming here for years. Love being able to have a nice meal at the restaurant, and being able to walk around the lovely town of Lubec. The accommodations all vary from the original rooms to the rooms on the hill. We love sitting out on the deck and enjoying the breathtaking, ever changing view of the ocean. Highly recommend. "

"Beds, bedding and pillows were very comfortable love the location as it has a huge parking lot and a great restaurant right in the same parking lot. Sitting out front is right on the river and we actually got to see seals and the fish jumping and eagle come in to try to get the fish Great place for four wheeling."

"We love Maine summers and Jenny's home is perfect for our family. We look forward to the relaxation and getting away from things for a while. The view out the numerous windows and doors in the back towards Holmes Bay is spectacular. You can see the tides come in and out and the view faces almost due west for great sunset views every evening. The home has all the supplies we need to be comfortable for the week. I'd recommend the home for any family looking for a quiet escape to nature.This was our second consecutive year staying here and we've already booked again for next year! That should tell you all you need to know as to what we think of this home! We're looking forward to next year already."
