"The place was clean, outdoor garden and massage pool beautiful. There is an outdoor kitchen and dining table between the two bedrooms. Great for playing games or having a glass of wine. Very peaceful and charming. Beds are very comfortable. Staying in a unique jungle place was an experience and I can now check off my bucket list. "If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here. The hotel has many positives, though: our room and the bathroom were both quite spacious. The large balcony, with its view of the lake, was great. That said, if you have knee issues or are very overweight, the room we had won't work. The steps to get to it are steep. Not an issue, unless it is for you personally. In addition, the hotel has its own access (not a beach) to the lake, with complimentary kayaks and paddleboards. Its proximity to the town (5 min by car) makes it very convenient. The one negative I'd highlight is Wi-Fi. It was never fast enough, and sometimes it barely worked. "

"Absolutely loved Agave Blue. The view over the lagoon is incredible. We felt right at home here, and loved preparing breakfast while enjoying the breeze coming through the 360 degree windows. It's not a hotel of course, so expect some more rustic vibes, which is what we were looking for. Plus, the owner is so incredibly friendly and helpful for local tips! Thanks for everything!"
