Great hotel & amazing service

Pros: Emiliano's and Tortuga Restaurant had amazing food, Staff are great and rooms comfortable. The pool bar was excellent and very social.
Cons: The pool temp was hot but understandable, breakfast buffet could have been better
Location: Location is incredible, 2 second walk to the Marina where there are many activities and tours to choose from. very safe coming in and out of Hotel.
We stayed here for 5 nights from 7th -12th Sept and we could not recommend this hotel enough. Also we where advised not to travel to Cabo due to storms and safety warnings but it was great, not too busy either! The staff are a true testament to this hotel, there was not one situation were we where unhappy with the service. Stand outs where Jose around the pool bar and Alan at Tortuga restaurant. Jose never left one person without a drink and was the most pleasant person to deal with and Alan was fantastic recommending meals and drinks. But really all the staff where incredible. The pool bar was fun with adults only and swim up bar and a DJ between 10am til 5pm and we met a lot of people hanging out here which was great. The pool areas need more shade. The food was great in each of the restaurants even though one of them was shut for the extent of our trip (Don Diego). I recommend going earlier because some food options would run out. Room service was good but sometimes the food came up cold and soggy but that's common with room service. Breakfast could be a bit better, nowhere to cook toast and things would run out without being replenished such as bacon. The rooms where comfortable and clean with a safe and good bathroom. The hotel location was amazing and right next to the Marina close to our tours and was very safe as you need to give your room number when you leave and come back at night.Overall this hotel was an amazing experience and I will recommend to everyone.

I love the hotel itself, but the food, drinks and service was very disappointing. It took us forever to get drinks at the bars (wether it was in the pool or club). The food was awful, we tried all the restaurants and resorted to eating chips and guac. Some of our favorite staff members were Alejandro, Nicholas, Claudia, Linda and Thomas.

The bath and toilet water were both brown. We had to ask others to shower in their rooms. Power didn't work for a bit. Asked to change rooms after experiencing all that and they didn't have anything "available". Had to walk down 7 flights of stairs every single day to our room and back up because elevator didn't work.

Great experience at the Sandos Finesterra. Friendly, attentive staff to assist your every need. Plenty to do at hotel but also close to downtown.

GREAT STAY

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Just stay how they are !
Location: The downtown area Is near by with a lot of things to do.
Great Stay. Great Staff. Would definitely recommend the stay there!

Nice Resort on the Beach

Location: Good location near the harbor and shopping. You can not swim on the beach at this location
We arrived a couple of hours early and tried to check in. Was then put with a timeshare guy that told us about the place. This took about 45 minutes until I figured out that this was a timeshare speech. So room was still not ready, so we went a have lunch and walked around resort. Went back to the counter and the room still was not ready. Was starting to get irritated but figured that the storm the week before had done some damage to some of the rooms. So finally got to the room and everything was good from there out the stay. Nice place and would stay there again.

Ok hotel, but average

Hurricane Lydia hit the area 2 days before we arrived so there was a lot of damage and the elevators were down but as far as the hotel it was nothing better than just okay . Around averageat best. I would give it a four out of five
