Best hotel stay ever

Best hotel I have ever stayed at! It was the last stop of our honeymoon and we stayed in the room with the large balcony and plunge pool. Incredible views of the big waves, wild monkeys everywhere, and easy/unique beach access. Extremely quiet hotel. Can hear the waves crashing on the cliff all night. Easy to walk to Bingin Beach during low tide. Excellent hotel service too!

The views are incredible but be ready to hike in. It’s a long path down an alleyway that leads to a little trail cutting along the cliff side and there are a lot of steep steps when you get there. The view and the remoteness are worth it.

This hotel is way overpriced! We were shocked. Staff is not properly identified; some random dudes grabbed our bags from us without saying that they belonged to the Korowai when we arrived and proceeded to (heroically!) carry them down the most treacherous of stairs. It is incredibly difficult to get to your room and not safe for children, and yet the Korowai offers a “family room.” The private beach is unmaintained, rocky, and it is impossible to swim, and wild dogs with infected eyes run around everywhere. There are no windows to open besides the big sliding door which you can’t leave open at night because monkeys could get into the room. Some good things: Beautiful sunset, definitely adventurous and a work-out for your legs, and solitary vibes in the middle of crazy Uluwatu.

I was madly in love with this place. It looked amazing and had great reviews. By when I arrived it was a big excellent surprise even more special. I literally wanted to move in & live there. And the staff is all super cool, incredibly kind, fun, and helpful. I rarely return to exact same place. And I 100% will return here and want to make it a home base to stay an extended time period. Thank You.

The alley to the place very remote and steep. A lot of construction work going on, a bit worn down - and hard access to beach (not for sun bathing). Not worth the value. Beautiful view though.

Our room had one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen! The room was clean and spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and kind and the food from the restaurant, delicious. The property has many stairs which can certaily be challenging for some. The hotel grounds look as if they are falling into disrepair. They really do not match the beauty of the rooms and its unfortunate. Dispite these, this is the type of place where if all you wanted to do was stay in your beautiful room/balcony amd enjoy the view you'd be in heaven.

Extraordinary ocean view from the room, excellent food and variety, the chef prepares the best breakfast!!! The lychee ice tea is the delicious and refreshing .... the beach provides stunning sunset location for the best pictures possible... Greatly recommend!!

A nice spot but over priced. More rustic and natural than the pictures make it seem. Cons: - The path to get to the property is rough. They send many messages warning you, take them seriously. However the staff was very helpful with getting our bags up the treacherous steps. - Didn’t look like the pictures. The pictures look much cleaner and better maintained. - the monkeys. There is nothing the hotel can do about this I understand. But be prepared. We stayed in the “romantic room” which had a private pool but we found the monkeys playing in it every morning so we didn’t use it. Pros: - great staff - beautiful ocean view - good location if you want to surf - natural secluded experience Overall if this was priced accordingly, I would have given it 5 stars.

Fantastisk personal och underbar balkong!

The Korowai är ett riktigt häftigt ställe med fantastisk personal. Vi hade en väldigt stor balkong som var helt fantastisk, men rummet var väldigt litet. Maten var mycket god och personalen är den som ska ha högst poäng. Det regnade en del när vi var där vilket gjorde att vårt badrum som var byggt mot klippväggen blev ganska smutsigt, det regnade även in mellan badrum och sovrum. Men i det stora hela så är vi väldigt nöjda.
