This is the best place to stay if you are doing the River Runners Rafting trip. There is really nothing else around the area so you are limited to the restaurant at the hotel only. Overall this is an average hotel.

The train noise is unacceptable. I'm paying for a bedroom that is for SLEEPING and I can't even sleep for 20 minutes straight ALL NIGHT LONG without HOOT HOOT HOOT HOOT. Earplugs do nothing for the train horns. I will stay at caverns inn next time and recommend to all my friends going to havasupai falls.

Check-in was pleasant. The hostess was not at the desk when we arrived, but she was friendly when she got there. The lodge exceeded my expectations, it’s very clean. Nice large fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. There’s a restaurant downstairs, but we did not eat there since we ate before getting here. Did not use the pool since it is raining. Gonna hike to Havasupai Falls tomorrow and this place is a lot nicer than where we checked-in for our hike tomorrow.

The train going by every 30 minutes starting at 3 am was not good. I didn't like being in an area that is an hour away from anything, and being stuck with the food options .

We are here for the night before our hike in to the falls and we just wanted to kick back and watch tv but the remote does not work. We can’t turn the channel or turn up the volume. Really is a bummer. They said they couldn’t do anything to fix it.

We are sorry to hear about the television, but this has been resolved as we recently refurbished a few rooms and the wiring in those rooms reset/ but was not explained in detail on how to fix. Due to this, we had limited availability at the time which would have created a room move in this situation (usually) and sorry this was not an option.

No lobby coffee in the morning. The first room we had, the AC unit had a high pitch scream. The second, the AC thumed all night long resulting in no sleep. Upon check out. The lobby attendant was nowhere to be located. My daughter had seen her at the desk 1/2 prior. We waited 15 minutes and saw being dropped off by a pickup truck in front of the building

We are sorry to hear about your stay and looking into ways to better improve the experience for the next guest doesn't experience the same issue with the AC. We are also looking into as to why no one was at the front desk, as our desk is open 24-hours. As far as the coffee, this is an additional fee in the restaurant, and apologize for any miscommunication.

For the post part, my husband and I enjoyed our stay. We spent the night after driving up from Phx before hiking to Supai. One thing we noticed, the door to the second floor from the outside stairwell was unlocked, meaning, you didn't need a hotel card key to get inside. Other than that, the stay was enjoyable. The restaurant was a little busy so there was some wait for our food but the service was great, the staff are friendly and kind. The complementary toiletries were cute! I would stay here again if we were back in that area.

The staff were all helpful, friendly, and polite. The room was clean and comfortable. After booking the stay, we read reviews complaining about train noise. We heard them when we were awake, but they didn’t disturb our sleep at all. We would happily stay here again.

Perfect one-night stay before hiking down into Havasupai. Comfortable bed and room in the street side of the lodge meant I didn’t hear any trains at all. Excellent restaurant on premises for both dinner and breakfast.

Decent and clean lodge. There was the sound of a train going by all night long — which kept some of our group up all night. Otherwise, it’s a fine a place to stay to get to Havasupai trailhead easily.

If you need a hotel in the area, this is definitely the best spot to stay! My husband and I spent the night here before hiking out to Havasupai the next morning. We got in really late, around midnight, and the staff were very welcoming. There is a train that runs close by at night, but it isn't too loud and there are complimentary earplugs at check-in. Our room had plenty of space and was exceptionally clean!

The property was very clean and nice. The staff was also courteous. The only issue I had was the quality of sleep due to train noise. While the reception gives us earplugs, this was not enough to overcome the noise every 15-20 minutes all night long.

Rooms are very clean. Train tracks right behind the hotel. Hotel offers free ear plugs. Restaurant is amazing and great food. The hot tub is not hot. Like warm at best. Mentioned to the staff and they stated someone would look into it. Never got above luke warm so not sure if they did. Really needed it after Havasu hike

If you are driving down Route 66 south of the Grand Canyon - make a stop and spend a night at this hotel at the Hualapai Reservation. Be sure to eat in the restaurant and have a Hualapai Taco. you won't be sorry. yes, the train passes by several times at night, but with the earplugs supplied at the front desk, i slept right through the night

They have an un-advertised hotel policy against drinking on the property with a $250 charge. The closest bar or alternative restaurant is >30 minutes away. If you still go here, be sure to request a room not facing the freight train line. it is very loud, they blow their whistle every passing, and it runs all day and night.

Our reservation is "dry" and we do not allow drinking (Alcohol) on the reservation (This includes our hotel). If we feel these rules are being ignored or abused, the hotel will enforce the rule; which includes up to paying a fine.

Lodge was very nice. Staff were super friendly. Awesome restaurant! Like everyone else says about train going by but I’m a heavy sleeper so didn’t bother me or my husband at all. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay for a night .Trains do go by all night and are loud . Staff was friendly, however housekeeping was knocking on door at 8:30 in the morning to check if we checked out .Front desk should know what rooms are checked.out shouldnt be disturbing guests. Wouldnt stay again.

This property was great before our hike out to Havasupi reservation. The check in process was easy, the restaurant was great, good food! And checking out at 4am was a breeze. Will definitely stay again.

The property itself was nice, clean and comfortable. However I have never in my life seen so many signs of rules. The entire town is no smoking , no alcohol which is fine but also no e cigarettes are allowed in the entire town as well which i found very odd. The pool was like ice and the " hot tub" was how a pool should be. If you are choosing this property bc of it , do not. The hot tub was unbearably cold. The restaurant had great food and the servers were very nice while working as fast as they could. However, they are extremely understaffed . I actually felt bad ordering bc of how overwhelmed they were. If you dont have 2 hours to spend I suggest not eating there.

Our stay at the Hualapai Lodge was excellent! The staff was very kind and helpful! The food at the Diamond Creek restaurant was so fresh and comforting after a day of adventuring at the Grand Canyon on the Hualapai River Runners 1 Day excursion. The staff was worried about the neaby trains, but my mother and I slept great and didnt have any problems. We didnt even hear the trains in our room! The beds/rooms were clean and comfortable with all the basic necessities. Definitely would love to make another trip and we will stay here again!
