Very convenient for picking up our Havasupai camping permit. Cute, cheesy, slightly disheveled grounds and room, but just fine to meet up and organize our backpacking supplies.

On the hotel site what was said about Grand Canyon Caverns Inn was not accurate! When I arrived and I asked about when I could visit the caverns and the clerk said they had been closed for 1 1/2 years due to needing a new elevator I was very surprised and upset! And I asked why did you guys advertise about the cavern's if they were closed and more specifically, closed for 1 1/2 years. Then I showed her the pictures from their site and asked about the waterfalls pictured. The clerk said that the waterfalls was an 8 mile hike. I commented then why not mention that on your site? I feel that it was completely inappropriate to list things to do in the area and not mentioning that the 1) caverns were closed and could not be toured and 2) to see the falls it would be an 8 mile hike. The clerk said I could go to the cavern gift shop and see pictures of it.. no…. I want to actually see them and do the tour as they had described on their site. My issue is that I drove 2 hours out of my way to see the caverns and the falls just to arrive and the told the caverns were closed (for 1 1/2 years) and waterfalls a long hike. Very very disappointed in the description of things to do near the property! Not acceptable! Misrepresentation of facts to the customer! ESPECIALLY CONCERNING THE CAVERNS! They even had the cavern tour listed on their handout given to the customer when they arrived. Not right, take it off the handout and the website of it is not working and can’t be accessed!

You couldn’t get WiFi in the room unless you stood by the door and the remote for the tv watch missing. The shower gave you barely warm water and if the room next to you flushed the toilet or was using the water at the same time, the water was cold for at least a few minutes until going back to barely warm at all.

We stayed here before our havasupai hike. The positives were it was near hilltop and it was clean. The service was friendly and the restaurant behind was really good and friendly. You can plug in EV next to restaurant to charge as you ate. The linoeum is horrid in the bathroom, half the outlets dont work and the faucet continously drips. Water pressure is low and wifi is sporadic. Overall it is ok for prehike but in no way fancy.

Check in took a while. I emailed ahead to let them know I'd be a late check in and they verified my reservation and told me to ring the bell. When I showed up they had a hard time finding my reservation and initially had us waiting out in the cold; They did eventually let us come inside while they figured it out. Once that was sorted it was all fine. It's a really convenient place to stay before hiking Havasupai. The room was clean and all the staff we encountered were really nice.

We hiked to Havasupai Falls and stayed at GCCI before and after. The motel was clean and very comfortable. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Pro: check-in point for havasupai hike so most convenient if you are doing that. Cons: rundown, minimal or no amenities. I suspect havasupai backpackers provide a level of business that allows them to operate without providing typical service. Stay in Seligman!

It’s what you’d expect out of a barebones roadside motel. I gave it 1 star overall because of the staff. I’d made my reservation in July. 45mins before my checkin they message me about a $20 fee, no reason or explanation. I contacted Expedia, they contacted the hotel,, it magically went away. When I arrived the guy at the desk tried to charge me a higher room rate (surprise a $20 difference). He acted confused when I pointed out he was trying to swipe my card for higher than the room rate I booked. A lady came from the back, told him to honor the room rate I booked. From there I thought we were all good. But then I get home to find they changed my card twice. I tried to call to resolve it with them but no one answers the phone. Now I’m having to fight it with my credit card company. This place would be out of business if it weren’t for it being the closest hotel to the Havasu Hilltop Trailhead. FYI, the Grand Canyon Caverns are closed, no working elevator. They don’t seem to have plans to reopen.

Got checked in for my Havasupai Hike with the wrong date for the hike out. Generally it's a 3 day hike but only wanted to stay 2 and the mule reservation was paid for and confirmed with the 2 night stay, however the tag given to me was for the full trip three day trip. This could have created problems however Geraldine at the village assisted us. Thank you Geraldine!

It’s convenient for the stay pre and post Havasupai hiking. The check in is also located there as long as you get it done at 8pm the night before if you’re heading out early. Bring ear plugs if you don’t want to hear the TV blasting from the room next to you.

The location is great if you’re doing Havasupai Falls, however, the inn is very rudimentary. It had no power in the middle of the night, and only a trickle of water from the sink. The bed, however, did seem pretty comfortable, and the sheets are clean. Also, it had connecting rooms and you can literally see the light under the door and hear every single word of the people next-door
