AWD or 4X4 is recommended. The main and secondary roads are usually paved. However, there are many side roads that are gravel or hard-packed dirt surfaces. You may experience potholes, ruts, steep inclines, and rough terrain. Most front-wheel drive vehicles have no trouble accessing the property from these roads if you drive safely and slowly. We do not recommend low-profile vehicles such as sports cars or motorcycles. During inclement weather such as snow or ice, you may be required to have 4-wheel drive or tire chains. We also recommend Travel Insurance during the winter months. We do not give refunds for road conditions that are out of our control. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but because of the natural mountain setting, you may still notice leaves, pollen, or other outdoor elements—especially in certain seasons. Nature has a way of leaving its mark, no matter how often we tidy up. Wi-Fi is available, though due to the remote location, service may occasionally be slower or spotty. We recommend downloading any essential content ahead of time, just in case. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary.
