The accomodations were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Bed very comfortable. I would definitely consider booking with D again as I found the privacy offered here was conducive to a personal retreat space. Made for an enjoyable long weekend getaway. Island Park was in walking distance. Enjoyed kayaking on the lake. Close enough to Lake Michigan to day trip to the beach towns. Sleeping area was a little tight, but not an issue. Host were very friendly and accommodating. The house was beautiful and the perfect size for a couple. The hosts had plenty of supplies in the bathroom in case you forget anything. We enjoyed having a full kitchen, and if we wanted to eat out, we were very close town as well. We’re hoping to come back soon! ##### June D. Both times have been in the colder months and we love being able to relax and watch TV and have a amazing view at the same time. The ducks, geese, and swans are entertaining to watch. The blankets to snuggle up with on the couch are a nice touch. One of these days we will come in the summer and take advantage of the fire pit and spend some time outside.
