I enjoyed my time at the Baywalk Residence. I stayed in the mini-suite with a large balcony overlooking the beach road and the ocean. This is an older hotel and it shows in the rooms, but this was not a problem. The staff was very polite and friendly. The location is great, situated on Beach Road and just a couple minutes from Walking Street, and it is next to a shopping mall and just down the street from the worlds largest Hooters. Outside noise can be a bit much and I had the unfortunate timing of being there the same time the city decided to dig up the street (not the hotels fault). The free-WiFi is also not very effective. Overall, I would recommend the Baywalk Residence for anyone wanting to be close to the action and working with a budget.
