Amazing location, 2 min walk to the beach, Bangla road or anything else. Shopping right outside the door. Restaurant has amazing food, pool is beautiful. If I ever go back to Patong, this is where I'd stay forsure- well worth the $$

We loved this hotel. We booked an ocean view suite and that gave us a fantastic view over the bay a wonderful room and access to the club house. The staff, facilities, food, drink and service were all 5*. We will definitely return
My husband and two adult daughters stayed at Diamond Cliff for 4 nights as a prelude to a Sailing Holiday out of Phuket, The Hotel was perfect, we chose the family suite, which consisted of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, wonderful ocean views, a family room, 2 fridges, dining area, two balconies both with views. Our deal included breakfast which was the most amazing breakfast we have ever experienced in all of Asia or Anywhere else in the world for that matter. Every thing you could possible imagine was made available to us for breakfast. The Hotel is set on a hill so made it difficult to get to and from Pool and other areas of the Hotel, however there was always a Shuttle service available within two minutes of walking outside your room. The Location was perfect, within walking distance to the Bustle of Patong Beach but across the road from some lovely restaurants if you didn't want to venture too far. ALl in all a perfect stay.
The hotel is a very nice one, but its facilities need some attention. Some areas show a damaged state and it seems (shatered window at the building entrance, stained and peeling walls in rooms hall).
Some other facilities seem to be there only to be able to mention them on the site, but these are not appealing to use (sauna in the restroom area).
The room we were in had a pipe problem in the rest room so everything smelled like sewage water, we were moved to another room when we complained the second time.
Rooms are nice, but hotel really needs some more attention from owners.
I saw the rating and I believe it should be higher.. This hotel is as close to the beach as you can get no other hotel was closer. Considering that it's the beach followed by the street and then the hotel all other hotels were a block or 2 behind. The entrance is tricky you have a great restaurant then a huge pool and the reception area is way behind.. The room is big and clean, the bed was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent with American dishes and Asian dishes everyday! The service at the restaurant was very good. Many tourist go from Phuket to other Islands and leave their lugage at the hotel until they get back, I think this is a great service. You really don't want to pull your luggage with you if your only staying a few days in another island. I realized once I arrived Ko Phi Phi Island that I left my vikiny in the outside balcony drying. The nice receptionist at my hotel called The Baan Laimai and passed on my message. 3 days later when I returned everything I left behind was there waiting for me and we were ready for the airport. Great service!!

Located on the west coast, Patong Beach is the most popular beach in Phuket. This two-kilometre-long beach offers everything from water sports and massages to food and drinks. The nightlife selection is infinite, including the famous Soi Bangla with its numerous bars, neon lights, and night clubs; dining along cliff-side restaurants with views of the coast, or at the two Thai food courts on Rat-U-Thit Road. The beach transforms into a night bazaar nightly, packed with colourful stalls selling beach wears and leather goods.
