Great design and modern hotel. Worth the price.
Great location next to beach as well as Bangla street and Junceylon mall within a few minutes walking distance. This is the place to stay if you would like to stay at Patong.
The lady that checked us in was very good and professional
We tried calling the spa to book an appointment but no one picked up, so ended going elsewhere. Also no one to take our luggage as we arrived at the lobby but someone did take it while we were at the reception counter.
Other than that, everything was perfect. The rooms are very funky and nice. Overall well worth it.

Over all stay very pleasant. That staff are nice and quite helpful. The manager is an englishman so, that helps if you are a foreigner like me. Room was spacious and clean. Although the bathroom was rather cramped in terms of (toilet to shower space) You'd almost soak the toilet if you were to shower. Other then that, loads of extras in the room form kettle, microwave, plates, cups, a large fridge and a huge atleast 40 inch+ TV (wall mounted) loads of room in the wardrobe etc too. Being on the eighth floor had amazing views of the mountains close by!
Great location...away from d noise of Bangla road, but close enough to walk to it within 5-10 mins! The room was small, but for a budget hotel, it was well maintained and good!
The owner, Philip, is super friendly and helpful!
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone on a limited budget!
We actually stayed here twice for a total of about 16 days, once finding it ourselves and once using Expedia. The hotel is about a 7-10 minute walk from Patong Beach.
The roof top pool is awesome and well maintained, although the poolside bamboo furniture is starting to get a little beat up. I suspect they will change it before the 'next season'. The pool also closes at 8:00 p.m. (All poolside lights go off). Personally we found this a bit early as it would be nice to have a swim to cool off when getting back from dinner. The beds are comfortable and for the most part the rooms are pretty clean. We had 203 on our first visit and 303 on a subsequent visit. 203 is the better room for cleanliness and cable reception, but 303 has a better bed. The front desk DAY staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
The biggest negative is something the hotel has no control over, and that is the motorcycles with their loud mufflers racing and revering their engines at 3, 4 and 5 a.m. Well actually at all hours, but overnight is the worst. You could request a room that does not face the street and that might help abit but then you would be staring at the balconies of another hotel and I'm not sure whether that would help or not.
was quite nice staff - very helpfull and friendly... Room was clean n relatively quiet - but bit away from beach, next to the hospital... Good location if u like it not so overcrowded and noisy and can walk 5 minutes to bars and beach...
all that at an affordable rate... liked it.
The Yim Siam Hotel is an adequate hotel for your time in Patong. It is walkable distance to everything in Patong, but not as close to the beach and to the main nightlife action if you're interested more in that. The hotel itself has a nice room with a comfortable bed. When the wifi is working it is a decent speed. Our largest complaint would be the poor shower with bad water pressure.
Overall we enjoyed our stay especially for the price!
Located on the west coast, Patong Beach is the most popular beach in Phuket. This two-kilometre-long beach offers everything from water sports and massages to food and drinks. The nightlife selection is infinite, including the famous Soi Bangla with its numerous bars, neon lights, and night clubs; dining along cliff-side restaurants with views of the coast, or at the two Thai food courts on Rat-U-Thit Road. The beach transforms into a night bazaar nightly, packed with colourful stalls selling beach wears and leather goods.
