We arrived relatively late and only just managed to get a room key (by luck, passing a member of staff as they were leaving). We were told we should have been sent a code to get our key, but we had not been. Beyond that slight panic, room (family room - double + 3x singles) was functional and did the job for an overnight stopover. Mattresses very comfortable and got a good night's sleep. No frills, cheap place to stay. Not recommended for a longer visit!

Dear thank you for your note, the codes are sent by the e-mail which you made your reservation with. They are also sent on the phone number of the reservation.
We thanks you for your commentary regarding the room you slept in. Best regards.

Clean and friendly
Clean and friendly but not the Ritz! We booked this hotel as a stop over spring a long trip. We couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room, the reception etc. and the service was good. The hotel is just a little out-dated and there are better rooms for the same price elsewhere. Could do with a makeover and it would be a cracker!

Not bad for a stop over.
This is OK for a stop off - family room was decent size with 5 full beds but bathroom was small. No real restaurant or facilities - not that close to motorway or Arras either. There are McDonalds and supermarkets/petrol close by. We had an issue with the toilet leaking which the hotel resolved - staff were nice.
We found this place had everything we needed. It was clean and tidy and the price was good. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. The wireless and shower were good. Overall good value and we'd stay here again.
They did not have our room ready when we arrived. They had to shuffle rooms around to fit us in as the booking they had was for 1 person even though Expedia confirmation said 2 people. The room stank of cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room. Told the staff several times, in several days, about the smell but they did nothing. Had to buy my own air spray to minimize the smell. The bathroom door and wall was covered in coffee drops but again they did nothing about it. Only on the 3rd day they gave us toiletries (shampoo and body wash). None of the other days we stayed there. Absolutely pathetic hotel. They ignored every single time we mentioned something to them. Expedia should not promote this hotel at all. Disgrace.
First impessions - Entry lobby side glass panel had a huge crack; there was an unpleasant damp smell between the outside and internal front doors. Bathroom had a very unpleasant sewage type smell. Washhand basin tap was very loose. Bathroom generally needing renovated. There seemed to be a shortage of towels. Room lighting could be better. Reception and restaurant area were pleasant except for mismatched cutlery. Food was good. WiFi was excellent - 50Mb upload & download. Pricey for standard of accomodation.
Very convenient although limited eating places near by. Near a beautiful walk by a river. Clean apartment, great for the family.

Great for family with 3 kids!
For 3 kids it was perfect after a day of travelling. 3 singles, a double and a shower. No air-con, shower and toilet have seen better days, room was clean.
if you aren't hungry or prepared to go into Arras itself then this will do....clean room, comfortable mattress and decent shower.
However if you must eat there bring sandwiches and crisps as the food will be a massive disappointment and the price of the cider, our error for opening it, at EURO 12.00 for a bottle that can be bought at a supermarket for just over 2 if beyond belief.....also dining staff either don't care or do not speak English... either way plenty of Gallic indifference on a scale that would have them welcomed in any Parisian eatery
Arrived at the quaint hotel in Arras on a VERY hot summer day. Check-in was a breeze but that was the only breeze!! The rooms were very hot with no air conditioning and when we asked the front desk for fans they said there was only one fan in The hotel and it was already being used. Asked front desk for some ice and we were refused as they said the ice was only for their restaurant use and they wouldn’t have enough. We were travelling with an 80 year old and were unaware that there was NO elevator. Finally the breakfast for 9.50 Euro was sparse and limited. The night before we told the front desk that 10 of us would have breakfast at 9:00am however when we arrived the fruit was gone, the coffee machine prepared tepid diluted watery liquid (the worst coffee we have had) and there was limited selection. There was no staff available.
Google map link on booking incorrect making location difficult to find. Nearby restaurant as recommended by staff excellent in food, welcome and service.
Good Value for money and location suited me. Free WIFI worked well and was good speed.

Give this hotel a pass.
Room was amazingly small. No staff around after 8 p.m. We had the misfortune of bieng on the ground floor. People directly above us were very active all night long while the room on the third floor above hosted a party with spit and cigarette butts covering a vehicle parked outside our window. I would have parked there given the opportunity. Very glad it wasn't my car which was abused.
We only stayed one night. Hotel on outskirts of city so easy access to main roads and was close to Wellington Tunnels which we visited. Parking in city centre free in evening. Hotel has no elevator and rooms are small but it was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Hotel was off wooden construction so quite noise as others moved about however quietly. Staff very helpful with their local knowledge.

Fine for a quick stop.
The beds were comfortable and the room clean. The restaurant was closed when we got there at 18.30 which was a bit of a pain and the smell of drains in reception and our bathroom was a little off putting and breakfast was pretty sparse too.
Hotel was clean and breakfast was enough for us!! Hotel.com site says Hotel is a lot nearer to Arras than it actually was so we needed taxi to go into town. No bar or restaurant to talk about and no reception after 9. Location was disappointing due to closure of everything after 9 and nothing else close that was open at time we went.

Good value and convenient location
Good value and a very convenient location for touring the WW1 battlefields, memorials and cemeteries. The rooms were small but adequate and very clean. The staff were efficient and friendly. Quiet at the weekend but very noisy early on the Monday morning. A good location for an overnight stay on route south.
This was an easy 10-minute walk from the University of Artois, Arras campus, making it more convenient than staying back on the other side of the train station. As it's on the edge of town (within sight of the wheat fields) it was very quiet.
Unable to book in until 5pm although our booking info said 12md, this was inconvenient. Staff unhelpful & unable to give us key to either of our rooms until next day so had to be let in with master key each time. Not good when unable to locate manager at 10pm to let us in ! No air con so uncomfortable in very small room. Breakfast poor.
Not great location, advertises as having a bar and restaurant but in reality it's a few tables by reception - drinks are served over the reception desk. Fairly clean but on the whole wouldn't stay here again.
