The restaurant and bar was amazing! Unfortunately we waited at the front desk for 10 minutes before the person came to check us in.

Room was lovely... lght & airy.... regrettably the new Heating Unit ran off & on all night, sometimes spewing cold air. Lost 3 hours of sleep.... Breakfast was alacart, $19.00 / person... could not get lighter breakfact " because Hotel was busy ??"

Stayed over holiday week to visit family nearby. This hotel was recently remodeled and is a big upgrade from its predecessor. Rooms are modern, clean and functional. The pub/restaurant is a good place to meet and have a drink.

The staff were wonderful. I was able to check in early. The property was lovely. Great shampoo, etc. The vent on the end of the air handler was very dusty. Room was very comfortable. Felt like a long way from most shopping and dining.

The air conditioner in the room rattled all night and was soooo noisy it resulted in a terrible nights sleep. We got in late from a long travel day and this was not what we expected.

Pool closed
Sorry but the AC is very noisy. The closet light doesn’t turn off and shines in your eyes through closet doors and the pool was not open. We specifically picked this hotel for the outdoor pool because it was 90 degree weather and we were at a track meet all day.

Inefficient and incompetent. I have never stayed at a Hilton hotel and I will never again. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, but unfortunately that is where the positive comments must end. Housekeeping is only provided upon request. Coffee is only out in the lobby during breakfast hours. If you drink coffee outside breakfast hours the only option is the Keurig in the room. That would have been fine if they would restock the pods. I asked upon check in and every morning to be restocked and it never happened. Even after speaking with the housekeeping manager who promised it would be taken care of. All of the lights in the room are motion activated so when sitting in the chair watching tv the lights kept turning off. The man at the front desk was very condescending implying that I didn’t know how to turn lights on and off……REALLY?!?! The restaurant was expensive and had limited choices and my Ahi Tuna salad was served without the tuna. The water in the shower was lukewarm on the last day. This hotel cannot get the basics right. Very disappointing.

Staff Coordination Issue
I have stayed here before. I actually have been going back in the day even before all the renovations. This place has always been a great choice. We just had a small issue with the housekeeping process. The staff did not coordinate with the front desk and accidentally stripped our room while we stepped out to get breakfast before checkout. The staff took the bags we left in the room and threw them out. This could have easily been avoided with a simple check with the front desk. My mother was very upset since they threw out all of the hard to find ingredients she gathered during our visit. She also lost her red travel thermos. This is a very easy fix. I just wished it could have been handled better.

Staying at the Sommerset was a welcome break. I booked a room to attend a party nearby and found the room modern, clean and spacious. Our king bed was large and comfortable and the shower was roomy. We would certainly stay again. The restaurant was closed for Sunday morning, but with a Starbucks and bagel shop just across the street, it was no problem!! We recoommend.this hotel if your life takes you to this area and you need a nice home away from home. We also appreciated the cool furniture design!!

No Coffee????
I realize it was Christmas Holiday and staff was off however, the Hotel should have offered at least a coffee station in the Lobby especially in the morning. Disappointed.
