Our room was thoughtfully decorated, comfortable and cool, the communal area around the pool allowed us to relax and chat to other guests and the brilliant owners. The location was perfect for us: we walked to the beach in 10 minutes or so (depending on what beautiful birds we saw on our way) where there was a really nice, friendly family vibe. The food at the beach restaurants was generous and delicious, as were the cocktails (hence the walk!). There's a small shop 10 minutes walk and a big supermarket 10 minutes drive away." L'hôtel est très vaste, parfait pour une petite marche pour digérer ! Par contre comme l'hôtel est fait sur le long, la mer est tout le temps très près des restos et piscines ! Très belle grande plage pour marcher. Malheureusement la mer était agitée les premiers jours avec drapeau rouge, forts courants...Interdiction formelle alors de s'y baigner, très décevant mais c'est pour notre sécurité...Excellente nourriture autant au buffet quauxrestos à la carte ! Exceptionally clean, great rooms, heavenly beds, great food/restaurants, beautiful beach and pool area. The shuttle service is very helpful for the massive property. Didn't get to golf this trip but the course is in great condition as well. The place is dead after 9pm, which wasn't an issue for us but could be to some people who are looking for some sort of nightlife/bars. If possible fly into the new airport to avoid the 2 hour drive from Tocumen (new airport is 15 mins away) but not a big issue either way. Will absolutely be visiting again! It is not a hotel nor associated with Playa Blanca Resort. This should be something on AirBnB. Overall the Playa Blanca property was very interesting but it was a little confusing as to what possible amenities were accessible or how to access them in general. In the end we just enjoyed the grounds and the property. Overall, we were glad to have stayed at the property despite everything. First, our Host was fantastic. When we arrived we didn't have an iron and ironing board, no hangers and a piece of the coffee maker was missing. She was there in no time with all of that brand new stuff. She also left us a nice bottle of wine and some chocolates. The place was gorgeous with clean sheets and towels, nice furniture, working Hot Water, Televisions in every room, ceiling fans throughout, really functional kitchen (with cleaning products, microwave, air fryer, quality pots and pans) and grounds/views to die for. The only let down was that we could not access the Lagoon which we understand is reserved for owners and not short-timers like us. Nevertheless, we had a ball at the Property, from the Town Center stores and restaurant to the pools (each building has its own) and the beach. Security is tight to get onto the property and then to get into your building the first time. Thereafter the Staff knows you and are very engaging and helpful. We didn't make it to the resort but understand they have day passes and lovely accomodations. There are stores and shops also right off the site, which was useful when getting groceries. Health care isnt far off (not much right there on site) but in nearby Coronado. Overall we would love to come back and stay longer. The beach was nice and wide allowing for horses and ATV use. Although mostly Canadians at Playa Blanca many others visited as well."
