"Our family of 5 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at beautiful Villa Tortuga! Although we were gone most of the day, we enjoyed coming home and hanging out by the pool together, enjoying the gorgeous views of Manuel Antonito, while chef Ricardo and his wife Alba prepared dinner. "This is definitely NOT a bar-hopping beach/shopping spring break destination. It's not on a beach. It's located 2-3 hours by car from San Juan International Airport. It's a 30 minute plus ride to a beach and the nearest sizable town on a combination gravel and blacktop country roads that wind through bannaa and coconut plantations and up the mountain. "This house was very close to Manuel Antonio Park and to the famous Playa Espadilla beach, both of which should not be missed. "This is a great house for a large group of people. Very roomy. Amazing view. Quick 5 minute walk to the beach. A/C and wifi worked well. Super Sol is a quick walk and has everything you need. Walk up the hill is steep and the house has lots of stairs but would recommend without hesitation. Great pizza place nearby. Los Alamandros has great food and if you're looking to surf, Brett's Boards is amazing.l"
