"Arrived on Sunday to find that no restaurant/chef available. We did not know this and could have been a problem had we not been able to get a curry delivered! The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished. Very nice people and a stunning setting. We all had individual rooms/fires that were well prepared and provided the rest that was needed."

"We stayed here one night. The room itself wasn't bad but someone had previously been smoking in the bathroom as it stunk of stale cigarette smoke, and I really should have asked for another room. We found the Wifi was non-existent on the standard network until we got the owner to hook us up on the 2.4ghz network in the hotel. He put the password in our devices himself....Then the Wifi was good. We had a swim in the pool which was really nice. There was aircon in the room but it didn’t seem to...

"Quel bonheur d'être tombé par hasard sur cet hôtel de charme. Le lieu est superbe et invite au repos. L’hôtel est superbement décoré avec un grand soin du détail et dispose d'un excellent restaurant! Mais ce qui nous a le plus impressionné, c'est la qualité du service. "I was hacked off both with the hotel and with hotels.com. Upon our arrival, we found that this hotel was closed up and evidently no longer trading. The reception door was not just locked but chained up. There was no-one around. No furniture in reception and litter on the floor. Telephoned but the call was rejected. Had to find another hotel urgently. This was despite hotels.com sending me the usual e-mail a few days before reminding us of our booking and wishing me a good stay. I only hope that...

"The twin bed was comfortable. The bathroom was updated and clean. The room carpets dirty with crumbs. The young woman who checked us in was lovely. The woman who checked us out was not friendly, not busy and still unfriendly. We seemed to be the only guests at hotel but they put us in a room with zero views of anything but a grey wall. "
