![Adventure to me is getting to experience the incredible places that not many get to see and the journey it takes to get there. The things you learn along the way, the people you meet and the feeling of accomplishment when you reach your goal. A brutal climb at elevation, in rugged terrain, hot sun, wind gusts, rain, snow, curious bears, and pushing through the pain are all worth in the end when you see that view. These experiences make you truly grateful for the small things in life we take for granted every day such as a bed, running water, a toilet, and good quality toilet paper. My time spent in the mountains has taught me many things. To get comfortable being uncomfortable, never use bear spray down wind from a bear, be bold start cold (from a friend) and dont eat dehydrated beef stroganoff to name just a few. Each adventure teaches something new. This picture was taken 8:23pm descending from the summit of Granite Peak, the highest peak in Montana. We would have probably never seen this view if we had stuck to the original plan. We ended up hiking over 20 hours straight and encountered a bear in the middle of the night on the route back to camp. Not ideal! However, I learned to stick to the original plan and never underestimate how bad your lungs will burn and how slow you walk when you go from 1100 ft. to over 12,000 ft. in less than 48 hours, but another adventure is in the books. Climbing mountains can be absolutely torture on your mind and body and at the same time can be so rewarding. Incredible views from the deck and main rooms, easy access to Yellowstone North Entrance, Gardiner had grocery, gas and a few restaurant options within minutes (even late shoulder season of October)! Beautiful place, impeccably clean, plenty of space for family of 6 (could easily add 4 more comfortably)! Kitchen fully stocked with supplies and tools needed. Highly recommend! »

« Perfect location, exactly what we were looking for. Great views and got to see mother bear and 2 cubs in the tree just off of our deck!Suggestion for other renters would be to reach rental during daylight hrs. As I could see it being a little confusing at night. Road to property could be a little tricky during winter but you should expect this with a rental in this location. You are not in a hotel atmosphere, so exactly what we wanted. »

« We had 12 adults and 3 little ones under 3 yrs old. This house worked perfectly for all ages! The kitchen/dining room was perfect for meals and hanging out. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of kitchen supplies and everything else we needed during our stay. The town of Livingston is adorable. I’d love to come back in the summer time and do more outdoor activities. I’d definitely stay here again! »

« The house was only surface level cleaned, swept but not mopped. We cleaned the dining table which came up very dirty before use. The upstairs shower has a moldy window covering directly in the water splash area with decorative flowers in the shower. The bath mats and mat around the toilet appear to have not been cleaned and are porous and visibly stained. Grout and caulking in the shower was grey with mildew and mold. The carpets suffer from guests not removing their shoes and we struggled to...

"Le pire hôtel de notre road trip dans le Montana ! La chambre n’est pas faite entre deux nuits les lits non faits les serviettes sales non changées le papier toilette inexistant les poubelles explosent et ne sont pas vidées les cloisons des chambres sont tellement fines qu’il est impossible de dormir de la nuit parce qu’on entend absolument tous les voisins de chambre de tous les côtés ! Obligé et pousser une hurlante à 3 h du mat pour que les voisins de la chambre d’à côté se calment un peu ! les portes qui claquent à 2 h et à 3 h du mat Le petit déjeuner de pietre qualité surtout premier arrivé premier servis impossible d’avoir des fruits car non remis les gens se remplissent les poches et partent avec des muffins ou des fruits alors que nous n’en avons pas eu ! Bref pas du tout à la hauteur des 300$ demandes pour deux nuits ! Je ne recommande pas du tout "

"Hôtel vraiment bien. Personnel au petit soin. Bouteilles d’eau « Yellowstone » en aluminium offerte à l’arrivée. Jumelles et bâton de marche à disposition dans la chambre, qui est très bien équipée. Très proche de l’entrée nord du parc. Seuls points noirs : le wifi fonctionnait mal et même pas du tout le dernier soir, ce qui nous a vraiment posé problème. Pas de petit déjeuner proposé, mais café à disposition dans la chambre et à la réception."
