Beautiful area! We had a few issues...The kitchen was tiny, only room for 1 person to work. Oven was difficult to use, you can't see the temperature and the outside gets very hot. I burned my hand on the door. It needed some maintenance (slow drains, easily plugged toilet etc) and the inside hot tub and saunas were not working. We did really enjoy the space for us all, the gym, the views and the area in general. Thank you! ##### Diane R. The suite was wonderful. We loved the bedroom and bathroom set up, and the roominess of the sitting area. We loved having a kitchen. We loved being able to use the pool and hot tub (unfortunately the indoor hot tub was out of order for our entire stay). We did hear noise from above and below us, but it wasn't terrible. It is a 3 bedroom with a bathroom attached to each room, so we all had our own space, plus the living room had enough chairs and couches for all of us to be comfortable while hanging out and the kitchen table was also big enough for all 7 adults and 4 little people. The rooms have great blinds and curtains so it stays dark for the kids to sleep. Kitchen is pretty small but still a great space. Loved it! ##### Kristy B. The room itself was nice. It was clean and spacious. Our issue was with the group staying above us. I realize that most people might stay here an never hear a sound from upstairs, but that wasn't our experience. The group above us was making significant noise until 2:00 AM both mornings we were there. I sent an email to the contact person who had sent all of the check in information but never heard anything back. I went to the front desk of the Zermatt resort but they said they had no control over the VRBO villas. We even tapped gently on the ceiling to try and let them know they were making significant noise, but that only seemed to intensify the situation. I text the contact number that was provided with my check in email and still no reply. Finally we decided to leave a day early from our stay because we didn't want to have another sleepless night. When we went to the front desk to get putters and balls to play mini golf we were told that the VRBO villas are allowed to use the course, but there is a resort charge of $8 per adult and $5 per child to play. I may have misunderstood but I was under the impression those amenities were included with our rental. Now I understand that while you technically have access to the amenities, there is an additional cost involved for guests not staying in the hotel. The property itself is nice and clean. I realize most people who stay here may not have the same issue my family had, but it was an issue for us. I was mostly frustrated with the lack of any communication from the owner. I emailed and text the number multiple times and still haven't heard anything from their side. When we were packing up to leave I noticed a different number in the guest book that wasn't the same number they had provided in their check in email. Perhaps if I had reached out to that number I could have received a response, but at that point, we had already made the decision to pack up and leave early. ##### Jeff G. Check in process was easy. Only thing I wish we had was some cleaning products like winded or Clorox wipes. Another set of sheets and an extra blanket as well. Kitchen is small, but the dining table is so awesome! Great for having everyone at the table or for game night. The furnishings are comfortable, especially the leather recliner. Zermatt and Midway have a lot to offer. The reason I gave it four stars was because the furnishings are a little dated and the master bedroom king bed mattress needs to be replaced. The home is spacious and in a beautiful location! Everyone was able to have their own bed and bathroom! We had a great weekend and loved hanging out in Midway. It is so beautiful! Perfect place for a girls getaway. Plenty of space for everyone, great resort amenities, and peaceful secluded location. Owner was responsive and came himself ro turn the fireplace on.
