The Carriage House Condominiums are a wonderful home base for winter and summer adventures alike, offering an indoor hot tub, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a grilling area, and a laundry room for your convenience. Hop on the elevator to the fourth (top) floor to be greeted by a living space that's full of natural light. After a day spent hiking or skiing, indulge in a soothing soak in the bathroom's jetted tub before curling up by the wood-burning fireplace with a DVD playing on the cable TV. The open kitchen has every essential appliance, the dining room table seats four, and the small balcony offers just enough room to enjoy a mug of after-dinner cocoa with a lovely view. The shuttle stop to the slopes is basically outside the door down the sidewalk. The condominium complex itself is fairly average - a little beat up. Swimming pool is shut down for the winter. Public whirlpool is good. Inside the unit, the furniture is they did probably around the 1980s, the showerhead was broken but we we are able to use a bathtub. A Number of odds and ends like the nlampshade by the bed was falling apart in and the curtain tie-back screws were pulling out of the wall. The cable and TV wiring behind the console in the living room was very exposed and looking pretty shabby. The unit could use a lot of updating and certainly a little TLC. I spent 30 minutes in the middle of the vacation sorting out how the previous door combination was no longer working and a new combination was programmed. ##### George L.
