We really enjoyed the spacious condo with two bedrooms and three bathrooms. Communication was excellent--I was contacted by Wyndham reps both by phone and by email, and since we were arriving after 5 PM, were given instructions on how to access the underground parking and the property itself. Everything was done using keyed-in codes on the doors, so no keys to lose or forget.
We were very impressed with the condo itself. It had 135 Mb/s Wi-Fi Internet access, and Comcast cable TV in the living room and both bedrooms. There was also a nice selection of DVD's and books. The kitchen was very clean, with modern appliances and utensils ready for use.
There is no air conditioning, but our condo had four big box fans in the bedroom closets. We really didn't need them, though. We just opened the patio door and some windows, and enjoyed the fresh mountain air.
I think the Wyndham staff has done a very good job of taking feedback from guests, and trying to anticipate as much as they can. After reading some of the other more negative reviews, I have to say that we went in with our eyes wide open and were still very pleasantly surprised with the property and the staff, who were very friendly and helpful.
By the way, for those who might not be familiar with the area, the Stein Eriksen Lodge is just across the street, via a series of stairs. The Stein's Sunday brunch is not to be missed, but make reservations the day before. We'll be coming back to the Black Bear again!
