Welcome to my apartment! My historic and bright 2 bedroom / 1 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Paris city center, perfect for those traveling with children or friends. The neighborhood is safe and family-friendly with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located in the 7th district, the heart of the French capital!  
  
Spacious and central, this apartment will be the ideal holiday resort for your family holidays in Paris.  
  
The Space:  
Welcome to this 68m2 historic and bright apartment next to the emblematic centre of Paris, an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.  
  
This apartment features a bright and comfy living area with its own dinning table and opened to a well-equipped kitchen. The rooms have been thoughtfully designed with colorful touches, also have great views over the interior garden the apartment is accessed thought.  
  
The apartment has a capacity for up to 6 people distributed in 2 bedrooms:  
  
\- Bedroom 1: 1 Double bed + double sofa bed  
\- Bedroom 2: 1 Double bed

\- The apartment is accessed via a very nice and quiet interior garden and located on a second floor, no elevator.

The Neighborhood:  
Located in the historic district of Saint Germain des Prés, in the 6th arrondissement, this 3-room apartment immerses you in the rich cultural heritage of Paris. Once home to the city's most famous artists, the area is known for its rich art galleries and museums. Admire the impressive sculptures of the Bourdelle Museum (9 min walk) and the Rodin Museum (15 min), then soak up the sun in the Luxembourg Gardens (18 min). History buffs will enjoy the Army Museum (15 min).  
  
Getting Around:  
Very close to three Metro stations: Duroc (150m), Vanuea (210m), and Falguière (450m). Gare Montparnasse is 1km away.

\*\*\* TOURIST TAX & HOME ADDRESS \*\*\*  
  
\- The Paris administration charges a small fee to every guest staying in a tourism accommodation. The introduction of a tourist tax makes it possible to avoid having to bear the costs linked to tourist activity in the area solely on the local taxpayer. Thus, revenue from the tourist tax is entirely allocated to the development of tourism infrastructure and the promotion of the territory. The promotion of Parisian tourism is therefore directly financed by the tourist tax, paid by tourists, and not by local tax.

2\. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.  
3\. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).  
4\. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.  
5\. No smoking on interior areas.  
6\. If the garbage bin is full, please take it outside and find the closest dumpster.  
7\. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.  
8\. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.  
  
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

#### Excellent emplacement, appartement très agréable

C'est un vieux bâtiment qui pourrait avoir un peu plus d'entretien, mais une fois à l'appartement on peut profiter de l'excellent emplacement et le confort du groupe grâce à la distribution très pratique.

#### Bon Emplacement mais pas bonne maintenance

La maintenance laisse à désirer mais la localisation est parfaite si vous voulez utiliser les transports: métro, bus, train. Il manque si peu pour faire de l’appartement un endroit un peu plus accueillant. Il semblerait aussi qu’une souris ait sa maison sous le frigo, une vraie expérience du film Ratatouille!

#### What a nightmare

Confirmation email indicated that we could access the apartment from 5pm. No request for us to confirm our arrival time. When we arrived late after a delayed flight, the code didn't work. Took more than an hour for the "emergency" number to respond by which time we had given up and booked a hotel. The agent admitted that they had programmed the code incorrectly. We asked them to reimburse our first night as we had to pay for a hotel. They blamed us for our flight delay. Very disappointing encounter.

#### Not as advertised - Beware

After leaving this apartment on October 12, we must communicate our strong disappointment in the apartment. We were initially taken aback by the disparity between the online photos and the actual space. The upholstery was soiled, the washing machine smelled like mold, the dishes and silverware were not clean, and we never did understand why there were small flies in the kitchen area. We opted not to use the bigger bedroom because it did not smell good. In addition, the safe did not work, and more than once we almost tripped over the uneven and loose floorboards. Needless to say, we were disappointed but accepted these discomforts because we liked the neighborhood. Unfortunately our last night at the apartment was horrible. Suddenly the place was overrun with mice. In every room. Persistent mice. We were afraid this might happen because the review posted just before this also referred to mice, but by the time that was online it was too late for us to cancel. We contacted the owners and they would not give us a refund of any kind, despite us wildly overpaying per night. So beware before you book this place, or lower your expectations. Or learn to live with mice.

The propertynhas a very old feel to it. The floors seem to be quite old. Made us feel as though we had stepped back in time. The beda were comfortable. The shower was wonderful. The kitchen was convenient. Good shops and good food nearby. Close to many things. We felt safe and secure.

#### Old world charm

At first I was unsure. The decor was austere touching bizarre, and the old wood flooring planks rattled under foot. But i like old houses a LOT, and this was in a very old building with traditional swing open windows and large window sills perfect to sit in and drink coffee or Bordeaux, one window looked out on the street, the other on the garden. Opening them both created a nice natural breeze through the place. The garden courtyard made me cry tears of joy! The location was excellent. As with old houses eventually the mice got comfortable with us, and grew bold, we knew it was time to leave. Also typical of old structures. The shower drain is problematic. Didn’t think I’d love it so much. The place felt good on my soul.

#### Paris Stay

Enjoyed staying here. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakery and cheese stores right outside the door. Metro is a 2 minute walk. Nice neighborhood and courtyard The building/apartment is a bit old but the bedrooms are big, the kitchen is stocked very well with dishes, pans, etc. Plenty of hot water. The manager was very responsive and allowed us to check in a little earlier

#### Nice apartment in busy area

This is a nice apartment, good for a small family. In a very busy area that is near charming neighborhoods without being particularly charming itself. There were NO amenities provided, not even toilet paper or hand soap (almost unthinkable in this age of COVID). This means if you want to use the dishes or the washing machine, both reasons for staying at an apartment rather than a hotel, you need to buy dish soap and laundry detergent; buy or bring salt and pepper for cooking. Supplying basic amenities for use on arrival would have improved the experience.

#### Great location in cute apartment

Brought my family and Mother to Paris and found this apartment to be a truly authentic experience of what it is to live in Paris. It is conveniently located near the Metro, cafes and amazing Boulangerie's and Pattisserie's. There are two markets on the same block for easy supplies and wine and the best Fromagerie in Paris is a block away (as told to me by a local and proven by the best Truffle Comembert I've ever had!). The apartment had your basic amenities and was a little tight for the 4 of us but adequate. The fish shop downstairs had a tendency to make itself known in the hallway leading upstairs to the apartment but was unnoticeable inside. The paint job and finishing throughout the apartment was certainly hastily done and not kept up. Though it was overlooking a busy street, the noise was minimal and we slept fine in fairly comfortable beds. The view into the courtyard from the bedrooms was very pleasant and all of us felt it was a good place to stay.Tres bien!

Very nice place, excellent and secure location with easy access to metro (maybe 20-30 yards away from front door). Somewhat spartan decor but everything needed is available. Good water pressure in shower!

#### Paris trip

Overall a wonderful experience. Fruit market, wine shop and grocery within steps. 30 min walk to Eiffel Tower. Walked at night and felt safe. Nice cafes within 5 min walk. In Paris, location and price is hard to balance. A perfect location will cost you. This apartment is a good balance.
