Property Details: This 35-sqm apartment is located on the ground floor without an elevator. There is a space that can be used as a living, dining or home office area. It is furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. The apartment includes Wi-Fi, suitable for working from home and making video calls The fully equipped kitchen has an electric tea kettle, sink, toaster, refrigerator, stove, drip coffee machine, microwave (with oven) and more. Full sets of dishes, cutlery and crockery are provided along with pots, pans and kitchen utensils. There is a clothes washing machine in the property and a drying rack is provided. An iron and ironing board, vacuum, mop and broom are available. The bedroom faces the street and is furnished with a double bed with a superior quality mattress. Professionally laundered sheets, comforters, pillows and pillowcases are provided to you, as well as bath towels for each guest. The flat has one en-suite bathroom with a shower/bathtub, toilet and sink. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer plus complementary toilet rolls, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap to start your stay. Our guests’ safety is our top priority, which is why the flat is professionally cleaned and sanitized before each arrival. The apartment is heated throughout during the winter months. There is no air conditioning, but portable fans can be provided upon request, subject to availability. The Neighborhood: About the Paris 7th Arrondissement Location: Within walking distance of the apartment is the fantastic Champ de Mars, perfect for a morning jog, afternoon picnic or sunset stroll looking up at the iconic Eiffel Tower. Les Invalides is also nearby, hosting one of the best history museums in the city, as well as the Rodin Museum. The River Seine is also within walking distance and you can go to the Champs Elysees or Palais du Tokyo easily on foot. The Latin Quarter is a short metro ride away with sights such as La Sorbonne and the newly refurbished Pantheon. Le Marais district is also easily accessible for shopping and dining on Sunday while the rest of the city is at rest. The nearest metro station, Metro La Tour-Maubourg (Line 8), is a short walk from the apartment, and makes it easy to access other areas of the capital. Just hop on the Metro to reach St Germain, the Latin Quarter, the Marais, Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur and more! The RER C is also hugely helpful at getting you to Saint Michel or Gare du Nord in a flash! BEWARE HEALTH HAZARD!!!! This unit smells of mold the minute you walk in. I checked the unit and found significant black mold around window casing in bedroom and in corner of bedroom. Window does not open and almost fell out on top of me. There is a dehumidifier present, which suggests that owners know about the issue. Dehumidifiers do not get rid of mold, only moisture. Bleach or other chemicals required to kill spores.This is a health hazard, particularly for people with respiratory issues. There is no ventilation in the apartment. I immediately contacted host and canceled my stay and returned keys to Café kiosk. I had to rent a hotel. VRBO and host refused to reimburse me for stay. I was in the unit less than 30 minutes. It also took more than four weeks to get my security deposit back. It is the best spot for seeing the best of Paris. Despite a strong mildew smell, we were fairly comfortable in the unit, There were items that needed attending to by whomever is the handy man. The closets were missing one of the siding doors. The broken one and its new replacement were stuffed behind the couch which didn't give a great feel. The sliding door to the bathroom would slide closed but then wouldn't slide back to open so someone on the outside had to lift it a bit to get it to slide. Thus, we just left it open so as to not trap either of us inside. The top hinge on the cabinet above the hob was loose so that when you opened the cabinet door, it tilted downward and then had to be lifted up to close it. Had all these items been attended to prior to our stay it would have made for a more finished look. The writeup for the unit said that there would be body wash, shampoo and soap in the bathroom. None of those were there. In the kitchen, there weren't any plates, just two different size bowls to be used for food. Also, no placemats or napkins. Be aware of the damage deposit. Despite written assurances by the reservations team that our deposit would be returned within 14 day period, it is now day 17, no deposit refund, and while they were quite communicative on Vrbo prior to and during our stay, now they won't respond as to why the deposit hasn't been refunded. ##### Ted and Judy C. The apartment itself was so charming, neat, and exactly as shown in the photos—clean, well-decorated, and stocked with all the essentials. From soap and shower gel to towels and a fully equipped kitchen, everything was ready for a comfortable stay. The location is truly unbeatable! You’re just steps from a beautiful street filled with amazing cafes and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy Parisian life right outside your door. And for anyone looking to see the sights, this is the perfect spot—the Eiffel Tower is incredibly close, and you can walk to many of Paris’s iconic attractions. It makes getting around super convenient and lets you soak in all the city has to offer. I’d absolutely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a true Paris experience. The host was super helpful, and everything about the stay was so easy and enjoyable. ##### Ines O.
