We walked to the Eiffel tower and Sacré-Cœur, each 30 min away (approx.) in different directions. We also walked from the apartment to the Louvre (30 min) and took the river cruse while there. It is a 4 min walk to the gare Lazare Paris train station which brought us to the Versailles castle in 35 minutes. The apartment is good for a couple. The pull out sofa limits the space to access the washroom so night visits to the bathroom can be hard. The apartment is as wide as the length of the sofa bed. You have to crawl over the sleeping kids on the pull out to get to the bathroom. Make sure the heater at the foot of the sofa bed is off because it is so close to the bed. Stove top for cooking (no oven) and smaller fridge was all we needed for the 3 days we were there. Street can be a bit noisy at night / early morning- but it’s Paris! The windows are adorned with traditional French shutters which open wide to provide a view to the street. So many great restaurants and a grocery store within 2 min walk.
