Nice hotel, super convenient for subway. Friendly staff and clean room. Elevator super tiny, no more than 4 people fit in but everything else was good. I would come back.

Nice little hotel very close to the metro and the champs elysees. Friendly staff. Rooms are small and the walls are thin but who spends much time in their room in Paris anyway!

Parisian perfection
Hotel Magda was a Parisian dream!! The room was beautiful and had everything one could need for a comfortable stay. Nice to have access to complimentary nespresso coffee, complimentary water, a fridge and microwave in the room. It was great to be able to put the kids to bed and close the door and read at night. We didn’t want to leave. Location was perfect and breakfasr option was wonderful too, We will be back!

Expect a budget hotel. The closest analogy would be a budget airline where you get the basic accommodation and everything else is charged for. Not everything is bad, the location is great but the staff at the front desk could improve their service skills.

They did not charge for it.Some might say that it is a nice service skill.Regarding your CheckOut, you did not warn the desk that you would check-out 2 hours later than expected. That is why they charged it after calling you and giving you some extra time.We do charge late checkouts, for the inconvenience it creates for the next guests, expecting their rooms to be ready at 14h00.Regards,Felix - FrontDesk

Lovely hotel. We had the family suite and it was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults 2 young kids). Room was super clean. Location was convenient. Literally right around the corner from the Arc de Triumph. Hôtel clerk helped order a taxi large enough for our airport return which was great. Not an ideal location or city for young kids. Lots of tourists in this area which means prime location for criminals and thieves. We were aware of pickpockets and were prepared on the subway, but were not prepared to be aggressively pursued and swarmed by a girl gang of around 10 teenaged girls trying to orchestrate an attack on our belongings, kids in tow, trying to split us up. Really awful. All while 20 other people sat and watched. They didn’t get anything thankfully as we shouted them away. Paris isn’t a great town if you need help!

Dependable and comfortable hotel with a fantastic location. Just steps from the Arc de Triumph and Metro, the Magda is a good value. I have stayed here 4 times, and it continues to be a friendly and convenient place to stay. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is fit for the task, and the room has always been spotless. The breakfast is nice and a good value. Another great stay at the Magda!

Halloween Paris adventure

The rooms are small and you can hear everything from adjacent rooms, which is annoying. This isn't the staff's fault. They were attentive and professional and made the stay quite nice. Would stay again.

What a lovely property! We were warmly welcomed and our room was better than expected. We stayed in a Junior suite as a family of 4 and it was wonderfully spacious. The kitchen with fridge and microwave made our stay even better as did the aircon which was invaluable on such a hot week! The lift is small but big enough to get your cases to your floor. The hotel itself is a less than 5 minute walk from Charles de Galle Etoile metro station and there is a huge array of eating options around the area. It really was the perfect base to explore Paris.

The room was spotless and well-appointed by Paris standards. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was functional, if small. The only issue I had was with the elevators (lifts). The lift is meant for 2 people with two pieces of small luggage so if you are on the 4/5/6 floor good luck walking up the stairs. If I had to do it again I would insist on a room on the first 3 floors. Also, the rooms are not very silent if you have noisy neighbors. Other than that an excellent stay within walking distance of Arc-du-Triumph

This is a wonderful family owned hotel. Steps away from the Metro. The owners are helpful and assisted us with a transportation emergency to the airport. The breakfast is wonderful. Would definitely stay again if I ever visit Paris.

The staff was great and very kind, however the rooms are small. This was the worst hotel experience I had this year. The hallway was noisy all day till early morning. The people upstairs were loud, when I spoke to frontdesk at midnight to resolve the noise, he told me that it was the children therefore fine.

First time in Paris
We enjoyed out stay at Hotel Magda Champs. Metro is close and easy to use to access many sites in Paris. Room was a bit smaller than I expected, but still enjoyed out stay. They offer a breakfast for a fee but we did not partake in that. Lots of markets in the area to grab some food to go have a picnic or even to put in the fridge in your room for snacks and drinks. We got a chuckle when we first checked in and both of us along with our two back packs and carry on luggage squeezed into the tiny elevator.

Fab hotel for central Paris
A great hotel in a great location only 2 minutes walk from the metro Charles le gaule etoille and near the Arc de Triomphe/Champs Elysee. The gentleman on reception was very welcoming and freindly. We arrived around 11 and left our luggage in the luggage room which was great and checked in later around 4.30. We had a junior suite which was very roomy, the beds were very comfy and memory foam pillows so had no trouble sleeping. Room was clean and cleaned daily throughout our stay if required. The room had a fridge so was good to stock up on a few supplies from a local shop about 5 minutes walk away and there was a really nice bakery on the corner. Theres also a mcdonalds and burger king right nearby and plenty of restaurants and cafes. Left our luggage on check out no problem and collected at 6pm as had a late flight. Airport about 50 minutes away on metro line rer a 2 stops to chatelet les halles then rer b to cdg airport. Would definately stay here again such a great location and friendly staff.

Beautiful old building. Didn't notice the type of security that would prevent anyone from simply climbing the stairs to any floor. Expensive rooms should include breakfast. But breakfast not included.

The hotel itself was fine. The staff was not welcoming and outwardly rude. Requests made during the reservation were not met and when I asked them to complete the request (having two beds in one of the rooms), they were nothing but rude. Also, when one of the travelers in our group was feeling sick and asked when the room would be cleaned, the fronts desk clear snapped at her and said “it will be ready when it’s ready”. I do not recommend staying at this property.

Dear Mr Hertzog,We thank you for taking some of your precious time to express your feelings following your stay with us.We are quiet surprised to see that you have so strong bad feelings about our staff.Even more surprised since we do remember exactly what happened at your check-in and during your stay : it is true that we did inverted your rooms but we fix the problem immediatly.That day we did have many check-outs and check-ins. We are truly sorry that you did have to wait longer than expected.We did our best to make the wait not uncomfortable by offering you drinks.The Housekeeper and the receptionnist did apologize many times for the delay.Regarding the following days, we are truly sorry about the traveler who was sick. Actually, you have asked the room to be cleaned at 1 pm so that your friend may rest, we fully understand. But the priority is given to check-outs so we can provide rooms on time for check-ins.Despite that rule, the receptionnist on duty asked the cleaning staff to do the room in emergency.He did call them many times to make sure that it would be ready as fast as possible. He did not snap at all, he was simply trying to make his best to provide the service. This can be a stressfull situation.We hope you will consider coming back in our hotel since despites this inconvients, you did like the property.Felix - FrontDesk

McDonalds and Burger King 200’ away if you want to eat cheap - but we chose to splurge - 4 good ($$$) restaurants within 300’ - drug store and market around the corner 500’. The Arch and Metro entrance 500’. No grab bar in the tub/shower. Great place for touring the Louvre and Eiffel.

Hotel is in excellent location , staff were super friendly and helpful . Only issue was the sofa coach which was not comfortable.
