The amenities are basic, the service is exceptional! Every person we interacted with, was polite and helpful and ready to go above and beyond. Our daughter fell sick while in Paris, and the hotel went beyond in making us feel comfortable, and even arranged a doctor for us. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel
Good location only a small journey on the metro to Monmatre which is lovely. Staff friendly, clean rooms, nice room products. Lovely big beds.

Good value Hotel for Paris
Good value hotel for Paris and for visiting Montmatre are of Paris. Hotel maybe a little outdated in furniture but it was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff very helándoos polite. They looked after our bags as we had an evening flight. Bars and restaurants nearby and also metro stop close by.

I keep booking here for the personable staff, location, and delicious breakfast. It's a short walk to the metro, but exploring the area is also lovely. In addition to the many hot and cold options for breakfast, they have fresh detox juice - a great way to start my mornings. I will continue booking.

The room was spacious compared to other rooms we staying in in Paris and London, which was really nice. The neighborhood that the hotel is in is a little sketchy, but I still felt safe there. You have to have your key to use the elevators, which is nice! And there are 3 elevators of a normal size.

Would never stay here again!
The power went out in our room at about 8:30pm on our first night. It wasn’t until the next day that they offered us a new room. There was no apology and no offer to help us move our bags. We were travelling with a baby so it was a big deal to have no lights in the room over night and pack up and move rooms. The food at the restaurant was terrible as well. Just a very over priced hotel who have so many tourists visiting they don’t need to care or even be polite.

Room was nice but there was no air conditioning in the unit. For the two nights we stayed the weather was 28 degrees. Air conditioning or a fan would have made the stay more enjoyable.

MERCURE SACRE COEUR
Checking in was a dream. A young lady by the name of Fanny and other front desk staff were amazing. Very helpful, however a gentlemen in the dining restaurant was a bit rude. Also the air conditioning doesn't work until June so it was a bit uncomfortable given the humidity and rain making the room very stuffy. The shower and sink areas are awesome. Also love that the hotel has a fresh water station where you can fill your water bottle with cold filtered water. Really special! Overall I enjoyed the stay for the most part. And a block away from Moulin Rouge and a few blocks from Sacred Coeur.

It was an absolutely incredible hotel, with the most friendly and welcoming staff members. I had such a great time mostly, and absolutely loved the feel of the place from the decor to the spacious rooms and outdoor terrqce area. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the bathrooms are amasing too, as they are large and the showers are great. One slight negative was that late one night I came back, and asked for a wake up call, and this did not happen the next morning. However when I addressed thed issue with staff they were very sincere and apologetic. The next morning they called a few times to make sure I did not miss my early train.

I have stayed in this property many times over the last ten years but this time I had to rate it disappointing since I paid for a superior room, but was given a room with a pull-down bed as upon arrival I was told it was the only one available. There were several coach parties staying there, so I was shunted to the first floor instead of my usual upper floor rooms with a view. However, the breakfast was still of a good standard and the staff were friendly and polite.

The property was nice, rooms were comfortable and convenient to the metro. However, we were overcharged and Expedia could not help with getting the bill corrected. Finally got it resolved through corporate management. Be sure to ask for an itemized receipt when you check out.

AC was not working properly. Our room was hot that we had to keep the window opened. The area is pretty noisy. The hotel is in great location to access to public transportation, shops, restaurants, etc.

It's OK
It's a Mercur, so you know what to expect: very little storage space in rooms, but clean and efficient. The staff ranged from helpful and professional to distinctly less so, though. The area is convenient, if a little sketchy by night.

Nice hotel in a good location. Blackout curtains really good. The room was quite considering we were located at the front of the hotel. The air on could have been better.

Nice hotel, garage right near it as well for parking. Room was clean and spacious but if your looking for a window view this hotel doesn’t have the nicest view

The hotel restaurant was beautiful and spacious. The wait staff in the restaurant were excellent and helpful. The front desk staff were not as courteous or kind about children. The room was decent sized but still felt a bit cramped. The location was hilly but walkable (a little tough but doable with a stroller due to inclines) but the environment outside the hotel was akin to Brooklyn or Queens in NYC.
