Avoid at all costs

The Hyatt CDG was so bad that I honestly just want to forget about it. But I MUST persevere and write this 1-star review (in lieu of ZERO stars). This is the story of my night at the worlds worst hotel, trying to get my eyes to close for a few hours before a 6am flight. Room #1 - Our first room smelled like an ash tray that was recently covered up with cheap cologne. Room #2 - It took the concierge 30 minutes to stop by with a key to room #2, which had a very broken shower and no heat. We tried to make it work in this room for a few hours lying in sandpaper sheets and shivering. Now it's the middle of the night, and we are very upset with this hotel. After another long wait on hotel staff and having to repack our belongings for yet another move... Room #3 - we were moved to the room next door. With an unflushable toilet. We called the front desk and tried our best not to bite anyone's head off despite the fact that we were now looking at maybe a few hours of sleep before our flight. We demanded a functional room. Room #4 - we were put in a jr. suite at around 3am and treated like we really won the jackpot. HA!! This room also had a broken temperature system and the sheets were the same sandpaper. Worst Hyatt in the world.

The lighting in the lobby area is so bad dark and depressing. Slow service at the restaurant

Nice option for layover or events near CDG

Pros: Location and pool
Cons: Food afterhour
Location: Near mall and Roissy
I spent only 12 hours on a layover. The hotel is very good. Only problem: no room service and nothing to eat nearby

Comfortable, great food and great staff

To find a comfortable business hotel in Paris at an affordable rate is not easy. Granted this is near the airport, about an hour away from downtown, but its proximity to Charles de Gaulle and to the Exhibition Center is the big draw. We were very pleasantly surprised by the warm, efficient, helpful staff, especially Gerard the concierge, the young, tall, skinny waiter in the restaurant whose name I didn't get. The rooms are normal sized, that is, extremely generous by European standards. There are very few amenities in the room, but I didn't really mind that much. The soundproofing was very good, you don't hear any of the traffic out on the highway, and very little of the planes landing nearby. The pool was a chilly walk out and back in, and not suitably heated, so it was a pass. In the drab Parisian winter weather it as a relief to have a huge glassed atrium to provide a few minutes of whatever passes for natural light during breakfast. But special mention has to go to the food. This is a four star hotel, by the airport. I never expected to actually look forward to dinner at the hotel every evening for an entire week! The buffet is not only suitably varied but it was basically delicious. Will definitely stay here next time I have to attend a fair at Villepinte.

Great hotel by CDG....quiet and civilized

Even though arrived late....lounge was quite happening and the manager was very accommodating....

Pros: Location & Service
Cons: Mir fällt nichts ein.
Location: Der Flughafen Charles de Gaulle, also am besten für Reisende geeignet.
Das Hotel wurde kurzfristig gebucht, trotzdem lief der Check-in reibungslos und das Zimmer war auch sehr gut.
