In diesem Teil der Stadt gibt es wenig Touristen somit erlebt man die Leute wie sie leben. Viele Bars in der näheren Umgebung. Die Besitzerin des Hotels ist überaus freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Man fühlt sich bei ihr einfach wohl. Elodie gave our party of 6 a great welcome and offered lots of information and suggestions during our stay. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Our room was facing the street with a pleasant view and we did not find any problem with noise. The breakfast selection was more than adequate and plentiful, with Elodie very attentive in making sure everyone had enough tea or coffee. The hotel was only a 5 minute stroll from Place d'italia metro which has great connections to all of the city. We would all certainly recommend Hotel Verlaine as a base for a Paris visit.
