The Hotel Prince Albert Concordia was a fantastic stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Huge plus for its location - right next to the metro and train station, making it easy to explore Paris. My room was clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We loved our stay here. The staff was really nice and friendly (they spoke good English) and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Check-in and check-out simple and quick. The location worked out great for us as it is walking distance from Gare Du Lyon station. The room and bathroom was very clean and all amenities were on point. There were no bed bug issues either, which I was worried about due to all the news going on around Sept and Oct 2023. We were also worried about room thefts so we made sure to lock our stuff before leaving but otherwise I did not feel that the staff moved our stole our stuff as the small items like toiletries and chargers were in their place when we returned at night. The area felt safe and there were no disturbances at night. Do expect small stairways and elevators like other buildings in Paris but that did not bother us. Everything was perfect and if I'm ever in Paris again, I would stay here!

I had a great stay. The rooms are small but good for one person. The only negative was that the bathroom was very small. Overall, worth the price and staff was friendly. Would stay again.

Near to the train station. Location is ok but slightly noisy during midnight because it’s located at crowded area. The room is really small and I wonder why they have a very tiny washroom just in front of my room. Breakfast not included but have to pay 8€ for a simple continental breakfast.

Near Hare Dr Lyon but shabby and not too clean - one pillow had dead fly like creatures on it and when we arrived dirty towel on floor stairway poorly lit

quick stay between train and airport was perfect
I arrived around 10 pm and the front desk staff was very helpful with a quick checkin, cheerfully helped me unlock the door even fielded an early morning call from my daughter when I didn't answer her call and knocked on the door to make sure I was OK. The room was clean and well appointed. Great pillow but only thing preventing 5 stars was a bed that slopes to the middle. Was out the door before breakfast. Would definitely recommend for a short stay.

Needed to stay near Gare de Lyon but in hindsight should have stayed in Bastille. Much livelier. Close enough to station. Great boulangerie nearby for coffee and pastries etc

The staff were very helpful about using the transit system, the hotel is 3 min from the train station, and our room had air conditioning, a life saver with Paris under a heat wave. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and our room was up 5 flights of stairs.

I lost my passport in Paris. While traveling through train, someone snatched my backpack. I lost all my valuables due to the theft. I didn't get any help from anyone when I described my situation to the hotel. The receptionist doesn't understand English, I had a tough time in Paris.

It was great for an overnight stay to catch the TGV next morning. Room very small, but comfortable. Nice breakfast.

Not So Great..
Room was very small. Barely had room for our suitcases. Weather was hot while we were there so you had to leave the windows open as there was no air conditioning and there is a lot of street noise.

A small hotel in a lovely building, comfortable place to sleep and have a simple breakfast. The water pressure was good in the shower. The neighborhood was nice, safe, lots of restaurants and a quick walk to the Gare de Lyon. Very small room and bathroom, but it was all we needed. Great staff service. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel for the price but small rooms.
The hotel was nice but the room was small. It was hard to move around. It is located near a major subway station which made travel very convenient, it is off a busy street near a police station, so expect to sirens frequently.

It's an alright hotel, keeping in mind that it only has two stars one shouldn't expect top notch luxury. Overall it was a good stay, just some hassle with whether we payed or not but that got figured out quickly.

Perfect stopover !
Small room in hotel about 7 minutes walk to Gare de Lyon. It was clean and quiet at night. Self-service breakfast. For me it was just a stop over as no train to Geneva from Paris after 19.30 p.m. Missed just a cup of tea in the room as no facilities for this.

Hotel Prince Albert Concordia.
The hotel is ideally placed for the Gare De Lyon and access to the Metro, the desk staff were friendly. It seems to be in need of a facelift/TLC as the front door had cracked glass. Despite saying we were travelling with a dog we appear to have had the smallest room in the hotel, it was very difficult to find somewhere for him to sleep safely without being stood on. The toilet was in a separate room from the wash hand basin so it was necessary to go across the bedroom to wash hands. The 12 noon checkout time was good as it gave us tome to cross Paris on the Metro to visit the outside of the Eiffel Tower.

Location/amenities exactly what I had hoped for.
Needing somewhere to stay near to the Gare de Lyon, I searched for a hotel which would be typically French so would give a good start to my short holiday in France. This hotel was just what I was looking for and fulfilled all my expectations.

I chose it because of its location, close to the Gare de Lyon Railway station as I need to take a 6+ am train in the morning. It is also close to metro station. There are stores and eateries around. The hotel is quite old except the toilet was refurbished. The room is quite small too. The service is OK but you need to leave the key behind when you leave the hotel. Sometimes the staff does not check your identity and there is some concern on security.

Very nice affordable hotel near Gare de Lyon
This was a very affordable, very pleasant hotel close to Gare de Lyon but with neighborhood businesses that were quite nice -- sandwiches, coffee, etc. The hotel was very efficient on check-in and check-out, gracious and helpful staff. Room was modest but reasonably sized by Parisian standards. I might not choose this for a long vacation, but as a business hotel it was great.
