The Property was fair. The location was great. Good neighborhood walkable to restaurants, attractions, subway. It is Expedia and The Property mgnt I had trouble with. I booked the hotel for 4 nights and was billed By Expedia upfront for entire stay, but broke my wrist and could only stY 2 nights b/c had to fly home for surgery. When I called Expedia on the very day you could still call to make changes in the reservation but 4 hours later than time stated, I was told they would check with the hotel and get back to me with 48 hrs, which they did. Expedia states that the Hotel would not allow a refund. When we arrived at the hotel we asked about this contact and they said they never heard from Expedia. The cancellation policy says that if you cancel or change you get charged for the first night plus taxes etc, but we were staying two nights and I had a Dr.’s note that I needed surgery and had to make changes in my vacation. The assistant at the hotel contacted Expedia and they told us they couldn’t help us, that it was the Hotel... this game was very frustrating and time consuming with calls! When Expedia turned us down for help again, I finally got a hold of the Hotel mgnt and he was semi rude saying they had never heard from Expedia. He said that he could comp me 2 days if I ever came back to Paris and that he would send me an email to confirm. 4 days go by and I don’t hear from him... so, I reviewed the Hotel and received a email within hrs. Will not use Expedia again.
