This is a charming hotel right in the heart of the Marais district in Paris. It’s close to everything and if you can’t walk to it, the Metro is nearby and can get you to where you need to go. The neighborhood around the property is filled with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping.
As for the property itself, it’s an old building in an old neighborhood. As an American, I thought it was so cool to be staying in this historic building. Of course, as an older building, it’s got challenges in just how big the rooms can be. We stayed in a room with a double bed. It was a lovely, albeit small, room. Since we were in Paris, we really weren’t spending too much time in the room. It was plenty big for the two of us. The only thing to be aware of is that the bathroom is very small, but still very serviceable.
Finally, but not least of all, the staff are awesome. They are very friendly and accommodating. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk into the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.
