Clean and convenient
Our stay occurred during the coronavirus pandemic and we were en route to Charles de Gaulle airport with a layover in Paris. We arrived in Paris by train and the station is across the street. Also, the shuttle bus to the airport is across the street. The location is very convenient. When we arrived, we wanted to go out for a walk. The woman in Reception said we couldn't go for a walk, the police were everywhere and would stop us. We needed some fresh air and went out anyway. Lots of people were out running, walking dogs, strolling with babies . . . and no police. Grocery stores, patisseries, and pharmacies were all open. We were able to buy some food for dinner, as the hotel food service and all restaurants were closed. The front desk did not seem well informed. We were told breakfast would be served in our room. However, when we called to order breakfast in the morning (when we were instructed to call) we were told there was not any breakfast. Unfortunately, we hadn't bought anything for breakfast the previous day since we'd been told the hotel would have it available. Again, bad information from Reception. The room and bathroom were very small. There were two of us in a room for three (1 twin, 1 double bed). I don't know how three people could have stayed. It's an old hotel and could use some updating, although it was clean - very important.
