Further to the breakfast, it's on the guest to include it when booking and in your case it wasn't. I regret to hear that you found it to be expensive and our amenities tired and dingy. Unfortunately, as you did not share any room preferences when booking, we were not aware that the lower floors would have been a problem for you. When checking in the room on the 1st floor was the only one available and you were told to speak with me the following day. On that occasion I offered you 3 choices: 1) to move in the same room category on the second floor as it was becoming available that day; 2) to move in a calm room with view on the courtyard on the 6th floor in a slightly smaller room; or 3) to move in our biggest suite (which involved paying a supplement as it was our last familial suite available).
