The hotel is very well located, walking distance from the Arc de triomphe. The staff were amazing, they were very willing to help in whatever we needed. I recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

A lovely chic hotel, providing really good accommodation. The bed was so comfortable and the facilities in general were good. Very friendly helpful staff. My wife and I used to live in Paris, this hotel certainly contributed to a wonderful extended stay and we can thoroughly recommend it as a comfortable escape from the bustle of the Champs Élysées.

Fabulous Location
Great location 2 mins walk from the Champs elysees. Very cluttered but it is an Old World hotel so it fits. Staff were fabulous

We will be doing a FULL review of this establishment on our website's travel section: www the anglophile channel (dot) com after an incredibly disappointing stay. Shocked when we were presented with a breakfast bill of over three hundred euro after we were told it was included at check-in! THIS after we were forced into a larger room for three - for an additional forty Euro a night - after they did not honor our Hotels.com described room for the additional "rollaway available". At check-out they kept passing the blame for the startling breakfast charges on to their breakfast server - who was absolutely lovely - but also never told us of the sixty six per day charge (for three persons), NOR were we ever asked to sign for anything - over a five day stay. The pricing was never mentioned, it was not printed anywhere on a menu, table tent or any information we were given upon check-in. At any rate, a full review with photos will be posted on our website. We were regular customers of this hotel over fifteen years ago and we're sad to say we may have over-romanticized the memory of its better days.

I have spent many nights in Paris and this was one of the nicest experiences I've had. The hotel staff were very friendly, courteous and thoughtful. My French is very limited and they went out of their way to help with all the little things that travelers need assistance on, especially one with very few French words! I was charmed by how warm and kind every one was. The hotel room was wonderful as well! The location great and the breakfast was fabulous!! Wonderful big towels and bathrobes and a beautiful large clawfoot tub for soaking after a long day of touring! If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay in Paris with a warm courteous helpful staff, Hotel Chateaubriand is your place!!

The hotel has a great convenient location with classical decors. It's just a couple minutes walk away from the Champs-Elysee. Hotel staff were quite friendly and helped me in all kinds of ways. However, the wifi connection was terrible for the whole stay. Thankfully the hotel staff were very considerate and took me to the hotel across the road for Internet. However, it would be much better if the wifi at the hotel worked, at least in the lobby, but it often didn't work well in the lobby either.

Very close to Champs-Elyses
First I arranged this hotel very close to visiting places. After my booking they requested my credit card details. I didn't share it according to given information by your site (Expedia). Also I informed them to share it after my arrival to hotel.After my arrival they told me that they didn't keep the room which I booked. I told them to go for looking for another hotel after then they insisted to show the rooms which were available at that time. We saw the rooms and chose to stay one. The hotel very close to Arc de triomphe and Champs-Elysees but it needs the re-furnished and maintenance.

Business stay for one night - best experience.
The personal service given by the front office guy in the hotel today in my least favourite city (Paris) re-embellished my belief of class having nothing to do with size, grandeur and all the posh things. I usually wake up at dawn whenever I am outside home to go out and take the pulse of cities when the drone of the daily grunge is absent. And so I ambled down to the reception for some coffee. The guy at the desk was not only kind enough to go down to the kitchen and make a fresh cuppa but also made me comfy in the outside sitting room with a quaint window view of the city slowly stirring up.He also offered an alternative to bring it to my room. This at 5 a.m. Now THAT was a big surprise for me especially in this country and a turning point. It's amazing how tiny things and acts like this can make something previously unlikeable (Paris in this case for me) slowly grow on you. A point now deeply rooted in the recesses of my mind and also particularly useful in my current profession on how every act matters and how David can actually topple Goliath through the most seemingly inconsequential acts. I actually felt the wheels turn in the opposite direction this time. The hotel in question deserving a honorable mention entirely due to this guy is Hôtel Chateaubriand on 75008 - a delectable classic with vintage vanilla fragrance in the labyrinths and cozy rooms. I am glad I made the change this time from the staid Novotel and IBIS with predictable self service on the menu.

Via [website] we had had a fabulous discount (70%) which made this stay very unforgettable. If we had to pay the actual price (€320) we wouldn't be so happy anymore as the shower head holder was broken, and some finishing in the bathroom was very badly done (caulk was applied by a child I assume). On the other hand you're right in the heart of Paris. Staff is absolutely helpful and top friendly and you sleep like a baby in their beds. I wouldn't go for breakfast anymore (€22/person) as it is not worth it.

This is a great hotel in a great location. My room was lovely, and I especially appreciated the luxurious bathrobe provided. However, my bathtub in room 10 leaked, and the breakfast (22 euros) was way overpriced, so I had breakfast at a local café for 4 euros instead! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends.

Hotel OK, teuer aber für die veraltete Deko und Ausstattung. Die Dusche hat nicht funktioniert. Erstmal kalt, dann dermaßen heiß dass es unmöglich gewesen ist mich zu duschen! Der Rezeptionist hat ein Preis Rabatt von n Aussicht gestellt, ich warte immer noch diese Rückzahlung! Ich bitte Expedia, so eine Entschädigung bei diesem Hotel anzufordern!
