Edgar was very helpful whenever we had a question. We ended up using uber a lot to get into the center of Paris rather than public transportation but it was easy and not that expensive. Highly recommended for a stay when visiting Paris unless you want to be in the hustle and bustle of the city. Daniel (manager) was very friendly, shown us around all the facilities and gave us some tips on traveling etc. Are is nice and quiet, public transport next door if you chose to use it and not too far from major tourist attractions. Over all excellent place to stay, we will surely chose Edgar suites again without any hesitation. It’s clean and located at a very convenient location. Just two stations away from Printemps and La Fayette and restaurants. Around the area, there are small cozy cafes around. There is an elevator (big +) and there are free-of-charge laundry facilities in level -1\. We informed about our late arrival & the administrator was available to check us in, which was a high mark in terms of service. In order to get to Paris, there is a nearby train station that would take us to Paris St. Lazare where we would transfer into the Metro system. There is a conveniently nearby shopping mall with a superb E. Leclerc supermarket. Now, despite being a new building, there is no Air Conditioning in the apartment. It was early October, and the weather was uncharacteristically warmer than expected, with temperatures in the range of 25 Celsius, so during summer this could be a major aspect to consider, perhaps its biggest issue as a place to stay. ##### Felix Stayed 8 nights in Sep 2023 ### 8/10 Good #### Yvonne May 15, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities Check in was less than optimal as there was a delay from when check in details were sent to Expedia and then to me. So I didn’t receive actual instructions until two days after we actually were able to check in. We arrived on a French national holiday and weren’t able to reach anyone at the Edgar Suites office and had to frantically send emails and contact Expedia through their virtual chat person (which by the way is less than ideal when you just want to speak to a person). While our check in was scheduled for 3 pm we were finally able to reach someone by 1 pm, but as you can imagine was very stressful, given we were 4 ladies coming from overseas into a foreign country without any confirmation of details of where we were staying. There was no excuse for this either as I had called 3 days before asking to confirm details of our stay. Either way Mae (the resident host) was amazing and was able to let us in early and was happy to serve us throughout the stay. Due to the mix up the company did provide us with a mid week cleaning, free of charge, to make up for the mix up. The property was very clean and was close to grocery stores and a mall. However we did not realize it was beside a seniors residence so we had to be cautious of noise levels but it wasn’t inconvenient. Although it shares that it is in close proximity of several tourist sites it is not within walking distance.
