Great hotel but noisy outside
The hotel and location were great, employees were wonderful. The only drawback was that the area was very loud until late into the night (at least on the weekend when I was there). I would like to stay again but very good earplugs would be necessary. Otherwise for the value, convenience, and customer service I would give it a 10.

I enjoyed the uniqueness about the hotel. The staff was really friendly and had a airport shuttle special for $26 euros. Nice area with a lively feeling. Can get a little noisy but not where you can't sleep.

I stayed here about 5 times already and this is my go-to place in Paris. I love the district, it is cute and affordable, it is super close to the subway and to Montmartre and the area is really safe. I am a regular the restaurants nearby as well, try Chez Ginette, Le Refuge and the ice cream store Kosak.

Exactly as described. Don’t let first image walking in we had a great time. Everything you need for a home base. Front desk helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed for a week. Location is nice with walking distance to restaurants and other transportation. Safe place to stay. Will stay here again at any time.

Pretty Decent
I am a female solo traveller and didn’t feel entirely comfortable with the front desk clerk. He wasn’t incredibly informative and gave off an unfriendly vibe. I understand he might have been tired, but when travelling to a foreign country, it would be nice to greeted with kindness! Elevator fits only one person (normal for Europe), very close to the metro (< 1 minute) and Sacré cœur Basilica. The room was bright and colourful. The view from the window was pretty! Although the shower pressure was good, it was incredibly tiny and the shower curtains kept sticking to me. You can tell the hotel is a bit older, but still cute and clean.

So-so and small.
Extraordinarily small room. Mini bar not working. Ant invasion. Room sprayed several times. SMALL. A bit dreary actually. No view whatsoever. Neighborhood good. One particularly kind front desk man, the others apathetic. Good only when price is very low.

The front desk staff were friendly; the room and the hotel were exactly as we expected -- clean and comfortable. Our room had a nice view with a little table in front of the French windows -- perfect for breakfasts. The street had a boulangerie and a small market right nearby. Best of all, you walk across the road and find yourself on Rue Girardon in the heart of Montmartre. Exactly what we wanted in a 2-star hotel.

The hotel was in a good neighborhood, but unfortunately is situated right above a cafe/bar, which you can still hear late into the night if your room is right above the bar. The hotel is good for its price; there's nothing luxury about the place, but the bed is comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms are good sizes, the staff is decent enough if you don't cross them, and they do provide breakfast..for a budget stay, this is a great pick.

Good location near Lamarc metro stop, very affordable price for a room with its own non-shared shower, (the shower was a bit on the small side though), room was cleaned daily. Would stay here again.

Well located by Montmartre

Forgettable
I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times and my experience is always the same; forgettable. I’ve continued to back for two reasons only; location and price. If you’re expecting service, cleanliness or comfort don’t stay here. Thankfully, Montmartre is so charming I spend a nominal amount inside this place.

I adore this place.
I stay in this charming little place whenever I’m in Paris - a few times a year. The location is perfect, the rooms are big for Paris standards, the staff is helpful and friendly and it’s very clean. It’s perfect for a stay in Montmartre, a quick walk to the sacre coeur and far enough from the tourists at Abbesses.

Great hotel in a great location
We stayed at this hotel for a week. The staff were always very friendly and helpful (they even printed our Louvre tickets for us when all the printing places were closed on Sunday). It's also very short walk to Sacré Coeur and we took advantage of that at lot. It was also right on top of a metro stop which was very convenient for going everywhere else in Paris. The view from our room was fantastic and I loved the brightly colored murals on our walls. During Fête de la Musique, there was someone performing right outside and it was like having a free concert from the comfort of our room. The room was a bit small but it didn't really matter to us. I would definitely stay here again.

Small hotel in a beautiful area
This hotel is a small, almost missed building near the metro exit. It is what I have always expected of an older, European hotel. Small but comfortable rooms, radiator for heat, and no air conditioning (not needed, just open the window). We were only here for one night, but it would be comfortable enough for a single person or a couple spending a few nights in Montmartre, only about 10 to 15 minutes walk to Sacre Coeur. There is a cafe below the hotel. The staff speak several languages, which was very helpful. Would stay there again.

Décor is hideous; closet not big enough to hold my suitcase; message wasn't given to me to advise of time to be ready for pick-up for an excursion; the phone didn't work anyhow; provided with one small glass only (no kettle etc.); bring all your own toiletries - a wafer thin soap and tiny shampoo packet is all that was provided; had to squeeze into the shower; came back to the hotel after an early dinner and couldn't get into the hotel - front door (sliding glass door) was locked and nobody was around. I rang a bell a few times - eventually somebody came and opened the front door. Signs posted indicating that taxi arrangements should be made through the front desk so that's what I did. When I went to pay was told there was a 7 Euro charge for the reservation of the taxi.

Pros: Really cute neighborhood, with a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Felt safe walking around at night. Right on the subway stop. Cons: It's an older hotel, without a ton of amenities. Rooms are small, not especially luxurious. And it's a bit away from many of the top Paris tourist attractions. On the whole: Good value for the money, mainly worth it for the lower cost, good neighborhood, and easy access to the subway. But if you're looking for luxury, or even a hotel room you'd want to spend a ton of time in, this isn't the place for you.

OK especially given the price
Whatever you do, DON'T stay in room 107!! It is above the bar/restaurant that plays club-style music even after they are closed, while they are cleaning up after 1:30 am. Our first night was so miserable. The beat/vibrations of the club music were keeping me awake and there was no AC in our room (the economy double) but the traffic noise was SO loud you couldn't open the window and have any hope of sleeping unless you can sleep through anything. At one point, I was losing my mind not being able to sleep and asked the lobby attendant if there was anything that could be done, and he kindly walked next door with me and asked the waiters cleaning up the bar to turn off their club music. The next day they transferred us to a 3rd floor room on the opposite side of the hotel, no questions asked and they didn't charge any extra. I give them props for this. What a difference. So much quieter and peaceful. The room itself is what you'd expect from a super budget hotel. Cheap linens, lumpy pillows, very small. It didn't feel immaculate but I wouldn't say dirty or unacceptable. The price is very very cheap for Paris given the location is good and the room is OK. It's right next to the subway and in a cute part of Montmarte.

Fabulous Base hotel
The hotel was a great Base for our stay. The front destination staff were all very helpful and friendly. We booked a car back to the airport and it turned up promptly. The room was comfortable with a good working shower. We did use the free WiFi which was fast. There are plenty of restaurants near and are all good value for money.

Hotel Adonis Sacre Coeur.
The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful. The metro is less than 5 minutes walk away and Sacre Coeur is just up the hill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here in terms of a good budget hotel. As I'm English a recommendation means a lot to me in terms of how I choose where I stay.

Lovely budget hotel in a great location
The hotel whilst basic was an ideal base for our stay in Paris. It is situated right next to a metro station which was great for exploring the city. The hotel was in a great location, being just five minutes walk from the Sacre Couer which has amazing views of the city. The hotel is also close to lots of cafes and restaurants on the main street and by the Sacre Couer. Overall I would definitely stay here again, the hotel was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and the location was great.

Nice hotel, great location.
Nice quirky style with an arty feel, decorated with lively colours that give a warm and vibrant vibe. The staff were friendly and very helpful with a special tip of tthe hat to Mr Kenzie, nice firm bed and nice hot water with good pressure in the shower.The area is lovely with Montmatre/Sacre couer a 10min walk or a very short bus trip away.There are cafes and shops very close as is the metro stop Lemarck , great place for a trip to Paris.

clean but noisy for an economy room
I booked an economy room. It was clean and basic which is really all I needed. The drawback was how noisy it was, and unless I was willing to pay 90 more euros, they would not upgrade me. There was also no breakfast included at the economy rate. 2 out of 3 desk staff were very friendly and helpful with metro suggestions, and the hotel is located within 7 minutes of a thriving artsy section and of course, Sacre Couer church which is stunning. If noise doesn't bother you, the room would be fine. If you are a light sleeper, do not book this room! I booked a shuttle to the airport and it was 40 minutes early!! Be certain and ask how prompt the shuttle service will be. If I go back to Paris I would not book this hotel.

Basic but good value for money
Quirky and basic hotel in a great neighbourhood. We stay here every year because we love this area of Paris. The hotel is bright and fun and if you're not too worried about the lack of frills and services then this is an affordable and fun hotel. Our room had good wifi and all the usual amenities you would expect and there is a nice restaurant under the hotel itself. The hotel is right next to a metro station which is very handy.

Fantastic Location!
It was beautiful, quirky, with a fantastic homely feel. My single room had all the space I needed, cosy but enough. Bathroom seemed newly renovated. There was even a small lift. The wifi was a bit of an issue, it worked only by the front desk and didn't reach my room. Also it would have been nice to have english TV channels. But it is literally in a PERFECT location, right next to the metro which is so handy! Can get to practically anywhere you need to go! Has plenty of places to eat near by, only a short walk to Sacre Coeur with a beautiful view of Paris. It was my first time in Paris, and as a young woman traveling alone I was very pleased with my choice of location. Quite safe. I couldn't have possibly been more pleased with my choice! The hotel staff were also most helpful, so kind and always had time for a laugh. In reference to other reviews, beds were made each day, hot water in the shower never ran out and the bed was extra comfy. One little thing I would have added would be a tea kettle to be able to make a warm drink at night. All in all, would definitely recommend and stay again!

We stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 4 and everything was very pleasant. The hotel was a perfect base if you like to be with the locals. Metro and bus stop in few steps out of the door, really nice location in Montmartre. The staff were really helpful, very polite and attentive to our needs. The rooms were small but was okay and comfortable.

Too small rooms for which I paid reasonable amount. I got realised after checkin that there is no coffee/tea maker in the room which made my stay very inconvenient.Breafast was disaster. Dont go for it until and unless you like eating only bread! Bathroom/Shower space smallest in the world. Asked reception for some hot water to prepare tea, but the bald & fat man at reception was not so helpful. Provided me hot water with some lecture, as if doing the great favour in the world! Location was great as metro just beside hotel and all food/medicines/laundry service, etc available just few steps away. Except location, I didnt find convenient at all. Wont go again. Will find little more comfortable hotel in same or nearby area.

Great Budget Hotel
I chose this hotel on price and location and with the intention of only sleeping and eating breakfast in it; for these purposes it is perfect. The hotel is walkable (25mins) from Gare Nord and the nearest Metro station is literally less than a minute away. The Sacré-Cœur is also within walking distance (10mins) as are a good number of bars, restaurants and convenience stores. The hotel itself is kooky in its decor and the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are fairly basic as you would expect for the price with random pieces of un-matching furniture adding to its uniqueness but they are clean and the bathroom facilities are adequate. The rooms have a 'mini-bar' which is stocked with a variety of soft drinks that are insanely overpriced and best left alone. The only other negative I have to report is the wifi. Yes, it is free but it is incredibly slow and frequently dropped out which was a bit annoying. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a budget option that is great as a place to sleep and get dressed with excellent access to local amenities and public transport.

Great Travel Experience
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for Valentine's Day weekend, and I couldn't be happier. The location was phenomenal (a very short walk from Sacré Coeur, next to a metro station, and surrounded by a very cute neighborhood). The room itself was very artsy and always clean. Just one warning: the bathroom sink doesn't have much surface area and it's very easy to accidentally drop things down the drain. The staff is also very friendly (and the front desk workers speak English).
