It has been designed to provide comfortable accommodation for 6 people. The property is located on the first floor of a secure building without elevator. The building is currently undergoing renovation. Rue Saint-Foy, where the apartment is located, was once a hotbed of Parisian prostitution. There are still a few prostitutes around, and you may notice vestiges of this history. Today, however, the area is best known for its lively, bustling atmosphere, while remaining a safe neighborhood. First, it was one of the largest apartments available on VRBO that was near the main attractions of downtown. You are less than 60 seconds away from the metro station, which will connect you anywhere, the apartment itself had three main living sections which allowed us to have privacy and separation when we were retired, and the neighborhood was lively. I found working with the owner of the apartment very easy and helpful. Obviously, there are some unique experiences associated with this apartment, especially for the affordable price compared to size of space. The building, which is very old, is in the process of renovation and it might feel a little insecure at first. But once we got settled into the apartment, we absolutely love the experience. Most anything that’s close to major downtown areas are going to have back alleyways, no need to be nervous here. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommended to anyone looking for an adventure in Paris. ##### Donald M. What was terrible was the complicated check in, trying to find the correct entry that isnt marked, the access to the apartment was under construction and almost impassable with luggage, the stairs going up are DEFINITELY not for the mobile challenged as its almost a ladder instead of a staircase with NO LANDING on the staircase for the front door. The construction really didn't help the look or feel, but its obvious its a very old building therefor has some safety access concerns. The parking is very challenging with a dodgy parking garage closest. I almost cancelled by the time we got in but the apartment turned out to be much nicer than the getting there and it was late and we were tired so we stayed. So the fact they didnt disclose or have photos of the exterior should be a heads up for the next guests! The neighborhood has shops and bars around. Its quite a walk to the attractions but the metro is close so that helps. ##### Danna S.
