The apartment is tastefully modernised and in an interesting area near the canal, right by the metro and many shops and restaurants. The downside is that it is right above the Avenue Jaures, and though the double glazing reduces the traffic noise it is not ideal for light sleepers.Some minor niggles: there is an espresso machine but no cups, a corkscrew but no wine glasses, a built-in fridge but no freezer compartment.
