L'hôtel est bien situé en plein centre ville. La chambre était dégradée, mobilier déjà cassé. La literie était trop ferme et pas assez confortable. Suffisant pour une seule nuit mais pour plus peut être pas.

Dear sir/madam, we have firm and medium/soft mattresses. Due to limited availability, we do not always have the option to offer other mattress hardness choices. Some guest find our firm mattress perfect! And others sleep like a baby on the softer mattresses. We have learned that there is no 1 mattress hardness for everyone. Hope you try our other soft mattress soon.

Problème de climatisation à régler.
Hôtel bien placé et calme. Dommage que la climatisation nous ait gênée pour dormir. Cette dernière est trop bruyante. De plus, le matelas a bien vécu ! Il est déformé au milieu. Nous étions dans la chambre 301. Peut-être que les autres n'ont pas ce problème.

Séjopur horrible dans un hôtel en bois.
Les chambres sont très petites. Le confort est sommaire. Le pêtit déjeuner est ridicule. J'ai passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel car j'avais réservé et le tarif n'était pas remboursable. Je ne recommande nullement cet hôtel.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, en plein coeur du centre ville. Le personnel est vraiment très agréable, courtois, toujours au service de sa clientèle. Seule les climatisations sont un peu bruyantes et l'eau au niveau de la douche qui varie sinon tout était impeccable !

Avec un environnement composé de bureaux , cet établissement est tres calme le soir. A proximité d'une banque qui accepte les cartes VISA ou MARSTERCARD, et de nombreux commerces. Un petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux servi par un personnel tres disponible et agréable!! A conseiller absolument!!

Must walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to the lobby and another 1 - 3 flights to the room. No lift or help with luggage. No glasses in the room, no hot water in the shower in one of the rooms and none at all in the other room. Stained sheets, lumpy pillows. Loud vehicles racing in the street, loud music all night, hotel says it is sound proofed but that is not correct. The single pane glass did nothing to limit the noise. Scary neighborhood: men walking around all hours, hollering, screaming at themselves and each other.

Great location, great staff in decent room
Staff friendly and very helpful and always available if you needed them. Great lounge areas in reception. Room was nice a big with desk and chairs, beds slightly hard but I prefer that too soft. Only downside is all the noises you hear within the hotel, so other people’s bathrooms, the A/C humming from other rooms from outside your room, ear plugs a must, very quiet once everyone’s asleep. Excellent location

Wonderful Service , Super Location
The Palacio is located in the heart of the UNESCO listed inner city of Paramaribo. We picked the hotel due to reviews and location, which were indeed good. But we were especially impressed with the service . Rochelle, Ariella and Barbara went above the call. In addition to Swift and efficient email replies on matters like transfers, they additionally helps us organise a surprise birthday for one of our group. It would not have been possible without them, and I’m sure it’s not in their job description. Our itinerary meant we checked in and checked out of the hotel multiple times, and they let us store our luggage securely which was a great help to avoid having to carry everything to everywhere we went in Suriname . Highly recommend the palacio.

The perfect place to stay ! It was clean with very good space, carefully decorated, with desk so you wish to work. Quiet and very close to the Cathedral and buildings near downtown. I would book again without any doubt.

Felt especially unsafe when the sun went down. place is in a very lonely area with quite a few vagrants on the streets out side. There is a scotia bank a few buildings away, the stairs/entrance foyer seem to serve as an inn or sleeping place for the homeless.

Quiet and helpful
We stayed on two separate occasions. Good central location within walking distance of the river and restaurants, spacious rooms with air-con, good wifi. The hotel was very helpful in arranging a taxi transfer to the border with French Guiana (note the border is open week-day mornings only) and to Georgetown Suriname (note border is closed on Good Friday). Earlier than 14-30 check-in was not possible either time.
