Close to Pernera town and the beautiful sandy beaches. The villa has a private pool with plenty patio space, loungers and outdoor eating area. The patio area is surrounded by sun all day and is enclosed by a contemporary fence with gated access to provide security and privacy. Toddler and child friendly!! The property benefits from a traditional stone BBQ, robust sun loungers, table and chairs and a large parasol to provide cover from the midday sun. At nights the garden area can be the focal point for a great BBQ or romantic night with strategically placed PIR and wall mounted lighting. The kitchen leads from the patio through to the lounge and dining room. The villa is equipped with all the facilities you would expect - air con,washing machine, oven, hob, fan, fridge freezer, kettle, microwave, iron, ironing board, clothes airer, cooler box, hairdryers in each room and a private safe. We have installed an 18 litre water cooler for your convenience (1 euro to fill - yes 1 euro for 18 litres of fresh drinking water!!). The lounge comes with leather settees (3+2 seater) surrounded by modern art pictures on the wall, satellite, wall mounted 32" flat screen TV, DVD player and remote controlled air conditioning. The TV system is an absolute bonus as you can access a multitude of channels including most British channels and sports inc Premier League etc. All bedrooms have remote controlled air-conditioning and ceiling fans. The ceiling fans have a light which can be dimmed, perfect as a night light for children. They all have built in wardrobes and mirrors. Open plan and furnished to the highest standards. \- Located within 10 mins walk of Pernera town and the golden coast beaches. \- There is no need to hire a car as the local taxis and OSTA bus services are both reasonable and reliable. The bus stops are 5 mins walk from the complex and free transfers are available at night to Ayia Napa and the Waterpark during the day. \- The villa is ideally located so that you can walk to Pernera at night, have a drink, meal and/or shop enjoying the large variety of pubs, many of which have live entertainment and karaoke. However, once back at the villa the peace and quiet of Orestiada allows you to unwind and sleep well. \- Those guests with young children/babies can easily push prams and chairs to the beaches and Pernera or even as many people do, wander a bit further into Protaras via the modern sea front boardwalk \- The beaches are mainly situated in coves so the water is calm and you can walk out a reasonable distance with your feet still on the floor. Again great for children or infirm people! \- A short walk to the marina and you can board one of the tour boats who take you for 1/2 or 1 day trips along the coastline. They will take you close to Famagusta (still uninhabited since the Turkish invasion) and down to Cape Greko with lunch, swimming in the clear, warm sea at various spots included. \- Visit the church on the hill in Protaras. Lots of steps but a beautiful sight at night when lit up. \- A short bus trip into Paralimni and you will experience the local traditions and wander through the old streets with a mixture of old and new stores inc Marks & Spencers, Lidl and even Sports Direct!. Has all the facilities and functions that you would want ( air con , cooker , wifi , satellite TV with UK programs plus many other great features) . A nice welcome pack was also provided containing some basic essentials which was appreciated Good location approx 5-10 mins walk to beach ,restaurants' and bars. Main big Supermarket approx 1-2 miles away , so you would need some form of transport if you wanted to go as too far to walk in the heat. A couple of small shops close by selling the basics but unfortunately a couple of the other supermarkets I'd previously used were not open as a result of the pandemic. Communication with Ian was great , especially as we were unsure as to whether we would be able to travel due to Covid. Airport transfers can also be arranged through Ian at a very reasonable price. Overall a fantastic holiday, would happily return to Palm Villa again. ##### Martin J. Ian and Sharon were very accomodating in answering our many questions (our first family villa holiday!) and provided many suggestions and recommendations that gave us reassurance prior to booking. The villa itself is great - we are only 2 adults and 2 children so we had loads of space, but even with a couple more, there would still be ample living and storage space. The villa was in tip top condition and we were left a few items to get us started (tea etc) which was a nice touch and the local villa management team were brilliant - Martin was so helpful. The pool is excellent and the team come to clean and check it a couple of times a week (non-intrusive). There is loads of outside space including a shower and the traditional BBQ was great. The location is ideal for a relaxing time too. It is located on a nice quiet development on the edge of Pernera and you can walk into the town via the main road or via the beach within 10 minutes - there are loads of quality restaurants, bars and shops close by (our favourite was at the top of the development so within 5min walk!). We would not hesitate in staying here again and recommending it to anyone who asks. p.s. the WiFi was excellent and the satellite TV was a nice touch when trying to keep two under five kids entertained! ##### Philip L. It was in the perfect location, the beach, restaurants and bars were all within walking distance and the bus stop was close for when we wanted to go elsewhere in Cyprus! This is without doubt the best one we have stayed in at this end of the island. It is the most well equipped villa we've ever been to, a true home from home. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pillows have pillow protectors on them, there's more than one tea towel and there were sharp knives in the drawer! The shower is almost like a power shower so you don't need it on full blast. The wifi is good for a family of 3/4 (if they all have phones, iPads etc) and the icing on the cake for us was the amazing TV options. The pool is perfect, there's plenty of room around it to chase the sun if sand and beach aren't for you. There is a proper brick BBQ, which we didn't use, but had we been staying longer we would have. The management team are super friendly and helpful. It was a short walk from all bars shops etc but no more than 10 minutes. We had a toddler with us and had to be alert as the pool was very close to the back door. The only other slight negative, we arrived at 10pm and there wasn't a welcome pack of milk or bread etc this was quite disappointing ! On the whole though the villa was lovely.
