It is just 200m from the Beach (Sandy) and Sea and just 2km from Polis Town. Villa Ammoyali is an ideal holiday retreat by the Polis coastline. Villa Ammoyiali (Ammo meaning Sand and Yiali meaning beach) is set by the Sea in a quiet suburb of Polis. The area is flat for walking and for those fit and able to you can walk into town and use the many amenities. DETAILS OF THE INTERIOR Ground Floor The villa is accessed from a private road in a quiet suburb of Polis. You will drive into the private and secluded grounds and park the car amongst the many wonderful fruit trees that surround the property. The villa can be accessed by the main double doors at the rear of the property or the more convenient side door by the BBQ which leads into the spacious open plan dining/kitchen & lounge area. The Kitchen has an electric hob, extractor fan, Fridge freezer, electric oven, microwave, coffee filter machine, kettle & toaster. Well stocked cupboards. Roller blind at window. Dining table & 8 chairs with patio door access to garden & outdoor sofa set for 4. Lounge area has 1 x 3 & 2 sofa in tan micro leather material. 3 single relaxing chairs. Glass topped coffee table. Large Flat screen TV & Receiver box (with premium channels)\*\*. Open fire/stove in recess in wall. Large sliding patio doors with access to poolside & the large square table with chairs for 8. The Ground Floor bedroom has a double sized bed with 2 bedside tables, dressing table & mirror. Access via patio doors can be gained to the private pool area. Fitted wardrobes. An astroTurf surrounding gives a natural feel. The area also hosts 8 sunbeds with 4 parasols with portable bases allowing movable shade. 4 small tables allow glasses to be close at hand. (suitable outside crockery supplied). Pillar style poolside lights surround. A Pool Table with Cues is supplied for your entertainment and alfresco lifestyle. There is a wooden table & 4 chairs at the side of the villa where the Large Stone built BBQ is set. A trampoline & slide for children’s 6 years old and under is in the same area. There is plenty of activity to choose from, whether you wish to dine in one of the many restaurants, shop at some larger supermarkets, hire mountain bikes, quad bikes or just watch the world go by in the ambience of the traditional village square. The nearby Latchi beach is renowned as one of the best on this side of the island and not as crowded as the beaches in and around Paphos itself (which can be reached by car in 30 minutes or under). Latchi beach is famous for its clear blue sea, soft white sand and a great selection of watersports which are readily available. Take one of the boat rides (or even hire your own) to the ‘blue lagoon', have a swim and/or snorkel, then come back to the pretty harbour/fishing port and have the famous ‘Fish Meze' where you will be served approx 20 dishes including some of the freshest catches of the day whilst watching the world go by. For the more adventurous, you can enter the ‘Akamas' Nature reserve and go all the way round to ‘Lara Beach' famous for its turtles and wonderful beach. If it is unspoilt Cyprus you are looking for, this is a great area to visit. You may even venture into the nearby villages of Peristerona, Lysos and Miliou or further on to Kathikas (with its vineyards and wineries), Droushia and Panagia. Other fantastic scenery can be taken in at Cedar Valley and the Troodos mountain range where in Winter, you can even Ski!Paphos airport is 1 hour away by very good quality roads with English road signs. The property was fantastic — it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beach was just a short walk away, which was amazing, and we loved having so much outdoor space to relax in. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed being close to two different towns to explore, and the whole area had such a calm, relaxed atmosphere — exactly what we were looking for in a quiet holiday. We absolutely loved Moustakallis Tavern. The owner was so kind, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was just what we wanted — warm, friendly, and authentic. Communication with LetsRentOnline.com was excellent and everything went very smoothly. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches, like offers of discounts with local businesses. It was our first holiday with a baby, so we didn’t take advantage of them this time, but I’d definitely consider it next time — especially renting a boat! Giannias was fantastic! He was so warm and welcoming, bringing us a bottle of wine and a local pie, and even stocking the fridge with basics like bread, eggs, milk, and butter — such a lovely gesture. Great location! Beach access was on the doorstep, it was a short walk into Polis (30 minutes ant a leisurely pace) and a short drive (10 minutes) into Latchi. We enjoyed Saddles bar in Polis after dinner at Finikas, where we visited twice during the week. Noma in Latchi was great for brunch, and we used Latchi Watersports for a private boat charter which everyone enjoyed. We were provided with good information and options for activities, car rentals and so on by yourselves. Giannis met us on the first day and walked us through the property. He returned during the stay to conduct pool maintenance and brought us a watermelon from the family farm. We had a great time in Cyprus and will definitely return. .'' The kitchen was equiped with everything you need, without the need to wash dishes for the next meal. Ideal is also that every bedroom has its own bathroom. We did not use the living room. We appreciated also the fact that you can easily switch between being in the sun, being in the shade or using the roofed terrace. Sufficient & easy accessible parking space (driving on the left side is not too difficult, but complex parking situations with the steer on the other side require a lot of attention) The location was ideal. Remote enough to have privacy without balconies and /or gardens looking into your garden, yet it was close enough to all required facilities. And as we arrived at Paphos airport it was a good drive from the airport to the location. We had no issues at all finding the location. \- The mas supermarket in Polis has everything you need and is not far away \- Latchi is a great place to for watersport adventures and dinning As we specifically planned this as a family holiday (our kids are already living on their own) we focussed on family time together on the location and less on sightseeing trips Clear communication from you and also important for me: a very clear payment process. We had a linen change on the 7th day and the cleaners were very good in the cleaning and changing of the linen, a big thank you to them for their work carried out. Regarding the location, it is very private and quiet for a relaxing holiday, a car is really essential if stopping here although you could walk to Polis centre area in about 30 minutes (based on our ages ranging from 65 to 73 years old). There are plenty of restaurants to chose from in Polis, the ones we went to and would recommend are Moustakalis (very friendly reception), Finkas and Old Town Restaurant (a little dearer but worth the visit and paying that little bit extra. Went along the coast to POMOS and had a good lunch over looking the small harbour and beach. One of the other places we went to was Latchi where we got on the Blue Lagoon II boat and had an enjoyable trip to the Blue Lagoon although it was cancelled at first due to bad weather, but 2 days later we had a good time. Regarding service provided by yourselves as agents I found this to be very good – Thank you Steven in all the communications and details on offers, prices etc., that were sent to us. Giannis the owner came on the next day after arrival with a cake and bottle of wine and gave us information regarding the villa etc. He was very helpful and pleasant with sorting out a problem we had with the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms later that week. On our arrival late in the evening it was very nice to find a “welcome pack” with some food and drink – Thank you again Giannis for all that you have done and would like to say what a lovely, well kept villa you have. The location meant that we swam in the sea early every morning which was lovely. The pool is gorgeous. The owner was very pleasant and available when we needed him. A Very well equipped Villa the only negative was the bath towels which were extremely scratchy and dry but very good for exfoliation. If you like a soft absorbent towel bring your own. Well equipped kitchen, everything we could need for self catering. There was only 2 of us but the property is very spacious so can obviously accommodate it's maximum number of 8\. Brilliant large clean pool, maintained every few days in an non intrusive manner by the owner. Perfect location, sea view with 2 minute walk to the waters edge. Short drive into town for restaurants and a large supermarket & shops or a 20 minute walk, which we did on several occasions, although not suitable in the dark. Giannis the owner was readily available if we needed him, although we had no problems at all. Super friendly and he brought us round a delicious apple pie and a bottle of wine on our first day, in addition to there being a significant welcome pack on our arrival. Also the help and communication from the property manager/company in Cyprus was excellent. Most helpful. We would readily come back again and recommend this property to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday but with amenities close by. We are seasoned independent travellers and having booked many villas in various countries previously we do have high expectations. Our stay at Giannis villa was incredible….the space for our 3 generations was generous, the facilities perfect and the pools accessible steps and max 1.4m depth was perfect for young and old alike. The best bit? The short stroll to the deserted, natural beach at daybreak to see the hatchling turtles making their way to the sea. Incredible and such a privilege. We decided not to hire a car and used the local taxi company for all our needs. Reasonable rate to and from Polis for our evening meals. Our host Giannis was amazing and the most helpful host we’ve ever encountered. Séjour de 14 nuits en août 2019 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### ian broadley 16 juin 2019 #### Beautiful Villa, Great Location We're a family of 8 (6 adults, 2 children) and stayed in villa Ammoyiali late May 2019\. The villa itself is new, very beautiful and set within a fruit orchard. It is secluded with the nearest road being about 50 metres away, which had very little traffic. Overall a very peaceful setting. All bedrooms and living spaces have a sea view and, because the villa faces north west on the bay, the views at sunset are spectacular. It was just under an hour's drive from Paphos airport, with a pre-arranged people carrier taxi costing us 35 euros each way. The local beach directly outside the villa is nice and clean but has no amenities, so wasn't ideal for our young children. The nearest child friendly beach we found was in Latchi, a nice and mostly sandy beach about 10 minutes by car. Coral Bay was also a great beach about 40 minutes away. When we weren't at the beach the pool area itself was perfect for both playing and relaxing, with the swimming pool being quite large. Although not heated, the water was warm even by late May. We also had great fun at Paphos water park, about a 50 min drive. Polis town centre is 5 minutes by car, as are various amenities inc large supermarket, butchers, chemist etc. There are numerous restaurants to choose from in the area. We tried traditional tavernas in Polis and also beach front fish restaurants in Latchi and weren't disappointed. Car hire is suggested as the area is quite spread out. Thank you to the owner Giannis who organised a birthday cake for our eldest son during our stay. He was very helpful and informative, nothing was too much trouble. Overall we felt it a great property for both relaxing as well as exploring the Paphos area. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und sehr gute Bars und Restaurants in Polis und Latchi. Überall nette und hilfsbereite Menschen. Giannis hat uns sehr nett empfangen und kümmerte sich liebevoll um das Haus und Pool. Er ist immer zur Stelle wenn er gebraucht wird und gab uns gute Tipps. The owner is really helpful and kind. The short track to a quiet beach is really handy. Polis is a lovely town with the Art Cafe one of our favourite places. The access to the Akamas Peninsula and Mountains is excellent and Paphos is a thirty minute drive. This villa and location are perfect for a peaceful quiet break with nature all around. Séjour de 14 nuits en mars 2019 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Deborah J. 6 nov. 2018 #### Fabulous modern villa with wonderful views of the sea We were 2 families comprising of 4 adults and 4 children who stayed at Villa Ammoyiali over the October half term. The villa was fabulous: modern, clean, spacious and with great views of the sea. Each bedroom has an en-suite and either a balcony or a terrace. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was a welcome relief when the temperature hit 30 degrees! The pool was pristine and was great for both the children and adults and was regularly cleaned by the owner, Giannis. The villa is surrounded by fruit trees, I loved picking a grapefruit for breakfast each morning. There was ample seating for all of us, inside and out, and as we ate outside every evening it was a welcome relief to discover that there seemed to be very few bugs around! I can’t praise the owner Giannis highly enough, he is extremely courteous and attentive without being obtrusive. Nothing was too much for him, he even gave us a quick tour of the local area in his car and often arrived bearing gifts of pomegranates and apple cake! Although we didn’t hire a car I would say that a car would be useful, as the shops and restaurants are about a half hour walk away.
