![At the most beautiful garden in Hawaii, Onomea Waterfall greets one while decending into the lush valley. Lynn and I spent 4 hours taking over 500 photos of the tropical flowers, flowing water, ocean waves, and small creatures. The garden is in a natural setting, located in a secluded valley. In my opinion, this was the best Hawaiian garden we have visited. The home was spotless, private, and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches everywhere. The outdoor space was fantastic for relaxing and unwinding. Just a short walk leads to dramatic ocean cliffs — rough, wild, and absolutely breathtaking. Perfect spot to recharge and connect with nature. Our kids never stopped exploring and can't stop talking about the Tree House. »

« The property is impressive and breathtaking. Directly behind it is huge cliffs overlooking the ocean. We saw several whales back there. You walk through their deep (acres) backyard and come out to this shaded oasis. Be aware there is no beach access, you are on a cliff with no beach. Below the water rages on a rocky shore. This area is rural and you likely won’t see anyone else back there. This place is extremely secluded, safe and peaceful. There is a gate to the community and another gate...

« I booked this property less than 24 hours before my arrival. The hist was very responsive and accommodating. The house is just as pictured. We got plenty of use out of the hammock out back. It was so quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioner in the master was nice, although with a nice breeze, it wasn't needed all night. Would definitely stay again. »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« Cute condo in a great location! This is our second time staying at this location and one we would certainly stay at again. The bed and accommodations are very comfortable. I enjoy the view of the lush and tropical backyard. The nighttime frog sounds are great for sleeping IMO but if you are sensitive to noise, consider bringing earplugs. Overall a great place to stay!! »

« We had a great time at our stay at the Eco Village. It's a beautiful property with lots of fruit trees planted on it, so we loved taking a morning walk to see them. The units are close to each other, but we felt that there was still good privacy maintained. There's no kitchen to cook food, but lots of great restaurants in Hilo. »

« We visited Hawaii for the first time this summer for my parent's 60th Anniversary. There were 11 of us in total at the house and we could not have made a better choice. There was plenty of space for everyone ( ok sometimes the teenage girls spent too much time in the bathrooms) and the surroundings were perfect. We loved meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Air hockey was fun to play. The amazing soothing sounds of the coqui frogs at night led to peaceful sleep,(earplugs were available if...

« The home was clean and beds were comfortable. The house was warm and air conditioning shuts off every couple of hours all night long. Which makes for a lot of waking up through the night. The house was also an arm after leaving for the day. Cats are super cute but sleep all on the furniture on the lanai. If you don’t mind won’t be an issue. I am allergic to cats so made the in almost unusable. Getting drinking water was an issue and barely any left in the fridge upon arrival. Otherwise is in a...
