Beautiful rambling early-1900s fully restored farmhouse in pastoral country setting on a few acres. One of the original homesteads in Paonia. Quintessential rural seclusion with an easy walk to town. Big trees and yard, sweet front porch, pocket doors, wood floors, nice-sized air-conditioned bedrooms and lots of fresh air and sunshine. 1 block away from the river and Paonia library, 3 blocks from center of town. Maximum of 4 guests. We do consider pets. Please inquire during booking. If accepted, our pet fee is $40/pet. We love getting to know who we are hosting! Barry & Christina are wonderful hosts. As a professional chef, I found the kitchen to be very well appointed and great to cook in. The kitchen was fully equipped for all our needs and there were several places we could sit and relax. The beds were comfortable and the bedding warm and cozy. As a whole, the house felt very homey and comfortable. The neighborhood and surroundings were both near to town and roomy enough to feel like it was in the country.
