Relaxation and the opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the Little Red River and Arkansas are what await you, when you book a stay at our Southern Waters cabin. Located directly on the banks of the Little Red River just minutes outside of Pangburn, Arkansas, you will enjoy all that the Arkansas outdoors has to offer. You have access to our private dock where hundreds of fish have been caught from anglers of all ages and skill levels both by fly fishing and rod and reel. The Little Red is also ideal for kayaking. After spending the day on the river, relax in the evening on the large deck with a bbq and a soak in the hot tub. The deck is great for observing the local wildlife. A large flock of geese typically swim and fly up and down the river daily, along with river otters, crains, and the occasional beaver. We also have had bald eagle sightings and white owls. White tailed deer have also been spotted swimming across the river. Don’t feel like cooking? Southern Waters cabin is only minutes away from restaurants with Pangburn less than 5 minutes away, Heber Springs 20 minutes and Searcy 20 minutes away. Southern Waters cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a well stocked kitchen to cook up any tasty dish you desire. WiFi is provided as well. This is a residential area. Please respect our neighbors and observe “quiet time” that begins at 10 pm. No loud music or other loud noises after that time. Failure to observe this rule will result in the cancellation of your stay with no refund. While we love our four legged friends, Southern Waters cabin has a no pets allowed policy. If interested in booking fishing guide services while you are staying here, please reach out. We are well acquainted with several of the local guides and pickup at our dock can be arranged. It’s well-stocked also. The bed we slept in was so soft, the couch is also comfy and the living room offers a picturesque view out the back windows… ahhh! The property manager was super kind. The cabin is well equipped, comfortable, and clean. The back deck space is wonderful and our son enjoyed catching a couple of trout off the dock. The family of geese that frequents the river is fun to watch. Although the property is in a residential area, it still feels very private (there is a privacy fence between the hot tub and the neighbor). There is also access to WiFi and streaming services along with several fun family games. Beds were comfortable and the host was sure to check in with us to make sure we had everything we needed.Would recommend and stay again!
