Beachfront Condo-Amazing View, Pool & Tiki Bar Ocean Front, Sleeps 5, Wonderful Pool Complex, Great Balcony, Newly Remodeled, Beach Service Included Seasonally Beach Chair Service included Mid March through October This is a great gulf front condo with a spacious balcony on the 4th floor at Summit Resort. this condo has one bedroom with a king size bed, two single bunks in an alcove in the hallway, and 1 1/2 baths. Living room also has a queen sleeper sofa. The balcony and pool, beach, and gulf all can be viewed from the condo. Come and share our piece of paradise! What's new at The Summit Resort? Many wonderful and well-planned upgrades and improvements have taken place! All four elevators have been replaced, the pool decking has been resurfaced as well as upgrades to the outdoor shower area. You will be happy to know the sauna area has been updated as well as many improvements to the grounds. There is security at the waterfront entrance to the pool area to assure the seating on the pool deck is used by guests only. Very importantly, The Summit Resort is committed to maintaining high speed internet and that has been updated again in 2023\. COME AND ENJOY! From sunrise till sunset the views are truly amazing! Your balcony overlooks the beautiful white sand beaches, emerald waters, and the gorgeous deck area with two large swimming pools, kiddie pool and hot tub. The pool deck also encompasses the tiki bar where all your favorite cocktails can be purchased along with Bikini Bob's Snack Bar so you can enjoy your lunch without ever leaving poolside. As you can see in the pictures Summit Resort offers a beautiful grassy lawn area as well as the large pool deck along side the beach. You just cannot ask for more! This condo has appliances and furnishings for your enjoyment and the kitchen is completely stocked so you will have all the comforts of home at your beach house. Eat in or dine out it's your choice in this perfect vacation spot. The condo has king bed, 2 bunks, and a sleeper sofa. The Summit Resort is conveniently located to all the attractions THE BEACH has to offer. There are so many amenities on the property that you could chose to never leave the site! For the adventurer in your group there is parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet ski rentals on the beach. Summit Resort has a very nice exercise facility for your enjoyment. The location is perfect as The Summit Beach Resort is convenient to all the local attractions, to mention a few, Gulf World Marine Life Park, Zoo World, Shipwreck Island Water Park, Wonder Works and Ripley's Believe It Or Not, St. Andrew's State Park, Dave and Buster's, Captain Anderson's Marina where there are many activities to choose from including deep sea fishing charters, dolphin watching cruises, sunset wine cruises, Shell Island cruises, or you can rent your own pontoon boat and explore at your leisure. If you have a shopping enthusiast in your group, you must visit Pier Park. It is a shopping, dining, and entertainment mecca! You can even catch a free concert at the Pier Park amphitheater every Thursday night all summer! Just bring your cooler and chairs and sit on the lawn. It's a great experience. We would be remiss if we didn't mention the open-air dining with live music that you can experience up and down the beach nightly. It is so much fun! While many of these open-air dining options are very casual there are many fine dining restaurants for you to choose from also. Day time activities are abundant on the beach and the night life and dancing are limitless also. Please come and play and relax with us here on BEACH. Unit is located at “The Summit”. It’s definitely a party vibe. Cigarette smoke and pot smell everywhere with a strip club across the street with a very clear sign showing it. I reached out to the property manager twice prior to arriving with no response. Elevators are backed up so luckily this unit is on the 4th floor so we did stairs mainly. Thankful we had a place to rest our head at night and proximity to the beach was good, but won’t stay here again. ##### Caity A. Our stay started out okay - but on day 2 we realized the dryer was not working and the dish washer was leaking. We notified the property management of this and they said the owners brother was coming to look - after that we received no further communication and the appliances were not fixed during our stay, leaving us to hand wash all dishes and use the onsite laundry facility. Not exactly the ideal way to spend vacation. I tried to make my 5 yr old mac n cheese and the bottom of the pot had black specks coming off of it where I guess a previous guest had used metal on it (yes I used a plastic utensil). Pretty much everything we used I had to rewash first because it was still dirty. The bottoms of my kids feet were black from the dirty floor. It looked like someone glued one of the legs of the dining room table back on at some point as it was at an angle. Once I realized that, I told my family to stay away from it because that leg is going to fall off and someone is going to get hurt, so we could not use the dining room table. Then, to top off the disappointing stay I was just charged $300 when I followed all of there check out instructions EXACTLY and know I left it in the same condition we found it. Not worth what we paid at all in my opinion and will not be staying here again. The resort itself was fine, but this particular condo is not worth it and will likely cost $300 more than you expect because apparently they will charge you the security deposit no matter what. ##### Lanay D. Since it is a busy season, it was a little crowded, but nothing crazy, chairs were always open on the beach. Hosts were very helpful, check in was simple. The room was clean, cute, and had a starter amount of essential supplies like soaps and paper towels which was helpful since we got in late and couldn’t immediately go grocery shopping. It is by far my favorite. The condo is exactly as listed. It is clean, comfortable and has everything you need. King size bed is comfortable with plenty of drawer space for clothing. It is nice having 2 bathrooms, also with plenty of storage. I have never slept on the bunks or sofa so I can't comment The views from balcony are perfect. You have view of entire backside of the property, pools and ocean. Communication/contact with owner/mgt is almost instant. You will have personal number and never have to wait days for return emails. Check in is easy. I like not having to keep up with a key. At first glance from the road, it would be easy to dismiss this condo. The building itself is huge and looks a little dated. It is located between a small condo and the former clubs which are closed. Looks can fool and that is definitely the case here. The part you can't see is beautiful. The grounds are clean, plenty of parking. Being next door to the closed clubs and small condo means more beach space without being on top of each other. Things I love about the summit that I havent had at other rentals: security is always at the gate and makes rounds on the property. Friendly staff. BEAUTIFUL views. The double pools are large. Plenty of lounge chairs and space to spread out. Tiki bar. The walk to the beach is shorter than other locations. Bob's burgers is on site and offers a quick, cheap and easy way to grab lunch. There is small shop in case you forgot sunscreen or other beach items. Location is great..easy to get in and out. I'll mention the elevators since there are so many comments about them. Did we have to wait for the elevator? A few times but nothing ridiculous or above what you would expect during a busy season. We could not use the bedroom closet due to it been used as a storage space for a vacuum, carpet shampoo machine, gate and toys. The condo was either not properly clean after the last reservation with left pizza or someone used the condo in between our reservation and the last. Therefore taking our peace of mind that anything was clean especially the none obvious. This is unacceptable especially with all the fees charged! Disappointed ##### Kaye K. The host was super responsive and very kind. The leg on the kitchen table broke (I think the previous guest probably broke it and just sat it up to look normal) they were apologetic and sent someone right over to repair it. Also, the hair dryer was missing and they sent a new one over very quickly. There is carpet in the bedroom that feels kinda dirty. On arrival I was a little nervous about the location. It’s pretty much in the middle of everything. There were crowds everywhere and some loud guests. So if you are looking for a more peaceful spot this may not be for you. But, it turned out okay. Being on the 4th floor, you can walk up the stairs when there is a line at the elevators. All in all I would stay there again. ##### Jennifer C. Updated countertops and bathrooms, but everything else was pretty outdated (ie all appliances, master bed, living room furniture). If you stay at The Summit, expect long wait times at the elevator, loud parties from 9am to 11pm at the pool, and a massive crowd at the pool and beach. The addition of the grill and tiki bar are nice, but they were always so crowded that we never even took the opportunity to check them out. We did enjoy the balcony view, location of the condo, and you really can’t beat the water in PCB. Just be cautious: if you want a more relaxing stay, I recommend looking elsewhere. ##### David W.
