Nice place will look to stay there again . The room was great. Their was no remote in the room, I call the office and someone came 10 minutes later to solve the problem.

The property is located on great part of PCB. it is close to everything and the views are amazing. Our two-bedroom condo was complete with everything we needed.

No record of my stay - paid in advance. Drove 6 hours, 2 cars and no condo. No help from the resort - left in the cold on Easter weekend to find a hotel on my home. No help from resort even with proof of payment. 3 hours on phone to try and resolve to find another hotel at twice the price on a spring break weekend. Rude front desk, GM offered no assistance. - I was left stranded with 6 kids and they all left at 5pm as if they didn’t care!

The hotel is older and the furniture needs to be replaced as it is old and dirty. The cleaning staff needs to be more mindful of mold growing on the ice dispenser and the ring around the washing machine door. Overall I really enjoyed myself and the staff was super nice.

Mediocre - not worth the price
Great family hotel - but absolutely no customer service sense its independently owned units. We couldn't get an extra blanket, towels, nothing. They give you no daily service so we ran out of toilet paper, trash bags, dish detergent during just a 4 day stay. They want you to take your own trash out and run the dishwasher but dont give you supplies?!?! We had issues with one of the toilets, hair dryer, fan, etc. Lots of little issues. Dirty. Vacuum was full of other peoples dirt and honestly I dont want to know about the sheets and blankets. Not one time did we see a cleaning staff working on rooms. Honestly there wasn't much staff at all. Half the games didn't work at the arcade. Its just for such an expensive price you would think you could at least get toilet paper???? Definitely wouldn't go again or recommend it. Only good thing is we were amongst other families and no partying!

Great condo right on the beach.
Splash is an excellent family condo. It is right on the beach and not too far to Pier Park. Rooms are clean. You can't find a better facility with as many pools. Only complaint is they need to keep the pools cleaner.

This is a non smoking facility. Smoking is not even allowed on balconies. The bed was hard, very uncomfortable. You have to wear a band around your wrist at all times, so security knows you are staying there. Room needed to be painted, lots of marks on walls, etc. 7 of us stayed for 3 nights, not enough toilet paper furnished. Very kid oriented. They loved the waterpark and heated pool (closed at 10 pm). Right on the beach so access was easy.

We loved the room and view was amazing. My only complaints we're it was difficult to get a front desk person sometimes( you have to wear a wristband at all times, so this is a problem when they need replaced) and the outdoor pools were COLD. We went in October so I was expecting them to be cooler than normal but when they say they are heated I expect a warm pool. The kiddie splash pad and water park were even colder. My 2 yr old refused to play in either one.

The hotel was decent, but for the age it was a little run down. The overall hotel was decent. The pool had mold, the dryer was loud and squeeky, the drywall was done poorly, service desk was barely there

Horribly filthy rooms and property
Horribly filthy rooms w torn furniture and bedding. Stains everywhere. No handtowels or washcloths - front desk says they have a vendor problem and haven't had any in weeks. Splash pad ( which is the reason u go to the place) was broken. Pool dirty and full of bugs. You could not convince me to ever go there again even if free. Room we had was 702 east - stay away!

Nice place for families with kids
We really love this place. There is a beautiful front view and the beach is nice. It is sooo close to the pier park you can almost walk there. We were able to get our grocery shop, dine and have a good time there. This place is nice for a family and for kids. I was able to relax and have a good sleep. Our bad experienced was really because one of the elevators was out of service due to maintenance, so being in floor 19 and wait for the elevator to come, was really hard. The place is clean, the room smelled like clean, clean sheets, towels and fridge. You get all what an apartment should need. If you think you can sleep well in the sofa, just forget it!! You better bring an air bed. The beds are hard, perfect for my back ache.

Disgusting Room @ Sterling Resorts Splash
Our family booked a room for Sterling Resorts Splash. Upon arrival were told the room was being cleaned. It was NOT cleaned even after we waited an hour for check in. The room smelled like an old greasy machinery shed. The carpet was stained and felt greasy. It felt disgusting to walk on. We wore flip flops during our entire vacation. The hair on the bed appeared to be privates hair. There were hairs everywhere in the bathroom. The bathtub was coated with a dark residue that easily came off when rubbing against it. The tub drain was clogged. The door handle to the balcony was broken and we slept with it unlocked. The iron was coated with a black tar. The dishes were disgusting. The guests below us smoked while we were out trying to enjoy the morning. The DVD player on the TV didn't work and kids couldn't watch their movie. Everything in the room was old and hardly worked. And one of the elevators stopped working and we got stuck on the 17th floor. Sounds unbelievable, but we have pictures to prove it. Property management refuses to make anything right. Our first and last stay!

We arrived after front desk hours (6pm) and were given a room key by security. There was no phone book or vacationers guide in the room to look up restaurants or attractions. Nothing had batteries which meant the tv remotes and clock on the wall did not work. The tv remotes were necessary for the dvd player and cable box. The hide-a-bed couch was broken, I'm glad we only had 3 occupants instead of the 6 it was supposed to be able to sleep, however since the couch was broken it was useless and at all times someone had to sit on the dirty tile floor since there was only one other chair. The linens looked dirty and there was no blanket on the bed, only top sheets and comforters which looked like they have never been washed. We purchased groceries but discovered there was no can opener. The outside pools were nice, but the beach is somewhat of a hill instead of flat. The baby and I both have a rash all over from the pool water.

We we're give the room 502. It was nasty. Floors dirty, no working vacuum, holes in the couch, coffee table had a leg broken, smoke detectors not working found pieces in a drawer. Piece came off bath tub that caused black mold pieces to fall in tub while my two year old was taking a bath Overall the room was disgusting. He really enjoyed the resort just hated our room. I have made a complaint with splash and hotels.com. Splash was willing to give me part of a refund but hotels.com not working with me at current moment.

Shoes stolen, not the best stay!!
When checking in I requested a possible early check in and a lower floor from the 15th. i had also called the day before to request the same and they seemed like it was ok. So when we arrived at 9am the first people to get in line for an early checkin. At 3pm we had finally got checked in. (Not early and not a lower floor) the lady at the front desk was not accommodating in any way. Obviously if she (Lindy) couldn't do either she should have just said so!!! She then put our check out date 2 days earlier so our room cards deactivated!! The room seemed to lack a lot of common kitchen items! For the most part them room was nice and spacious. The pools needed more cleaning could see stuff floating around (nasty!!)! Also do not use the wooden cubby for your shoes while you go to the beach!! Shoes got stolen!! Along with several other people we had talked to! The beach was beautiful and the weather was perfect!! Also they only had 2 grills for the entire splash hotel east and west and they didn't work properly!!

Great family environment
Overall, it was a great time at the resort. Everything we needed was at the most a short ride or walk. The view from our room was amazing! I would recommend this resort to anyone with small children. The only complaint I did have was the key card reader for our room. It worked a certain times and then it didn't. We had four keys and it took a some time to check which ones would work. But other than that, it was well worth the trip from Texas.

Was a great getaway
The hotel It's self was great the room was wonderful the view was fantastic and the water park was great for the kids! Only issue we had was checking in we checked in late we had no idea where to go at the front desk was closed We figured it out after some panicking but they should have instructions on the website on how to check in if it's after 6 PM. If you are checking after 6 PM there is a lock box. With your key in it but you're going to have to call the phone number sometimes Hotels.com reservations do not show up On the reservation so there was some confusion but I got it sorted out. But everything else was fantastic I highly recommend it for families

Our Sterling Splash Resort Experience
We would have given this an overall 5 because we absolutely loved the Splash Resort as well as the location. However, the reason we did give a 5 was because there were not enough luggage racks, and the elevators were terribly slow. We waiting a total of 10 minutes for the elevator which ended up be to crowded and had to wait another 10 minutes for another elevator. That was the only aggrevation for this resort.

Overall the place was great just what we wanted. We did not have any problems with slow elevators(18th floor West Tower). The unit we rented had a few minor issues such as broken ice maker, pre-set a/c (too cold), and a few other things. The resort overall was clean and the staff were nice but I did not have daily interactions with them. The pool areas were clean and the pool attendant was there each day. The slide water was cold but the kids did not care. The lazy river water was just right and was a huge hit. We spent most of our time in it. We will be back to enjoy the pools and beach again.

Not What I Expected
This is a good resort for families, but it was really crowded. I expected it to be crowded because it is the beach, but getting an elevator to the ground floor was the worst. We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes some days for an elevator because they were all filled. Only two elevators per tower for a 21 floor condo complex is not enough. Overall it was okay, but we will be staying in a smaller condo next time not in Panama City Beach. It is not what I remembered as a kid. It has areas that have not been updated since the early nineties.

My family & especially 3 year old were very excited about visiting the beach. The location of the resort is perfect, right on the beach w/ easy access. The various pools & water activities were perfect for my 1 & 3 year olds. Very clean, fun & enjoyable for everyone. I would recommend bringing beach chairs & umbrella (or buy them at one of the shops), as it costs $42 each day to rent these & we didn't stay on the beach the whole day each time since the kids really enjoyed swimming in pools more than the ocean. Overall facilities were very good! However, staff support & availability is another issue. Condo's cleanliness was alright, furniture & carpet were really dirty & stained. As a 1st time renter, it would be nice to know that certain necessities (like toilet paper & trash bags) are NOT provided. A list of included items provided & NOT provided by the resort would be helpful when planning a trip. However, the worst part was the 2 days our keys (all 4 them) did not work in the lock. For 2 days we had to schedule who would be in the room so that we could get back in. One of the nights when we all wanted to go out, my father had to stay behind & missed dinner w/ us becuz the new keys the front desk had given us still didn't work & by 6 pm the office was CLOSED, so no one could help. The 2nd nght, head maintenance assured us security could get in. Security was very unpleasant when called & left the room propped open be4 we got to the room.Not safe & very rude!

The master bedroom was very over crowded with large furniture. I had to crawl across the entire bed to get in and out of it. It was practically resting against one of walls.
