This Gulf View home features a spacious screened in porch with outdoor dining and comfortable seating that is wonderful for enjoying the view during the day and relax and dine in the evening. This home is not directly on the beach, but because of it’s location, and the short walk to the convenient boardwalk; it feels like it's "on the beach". \*The deck is such a lovely place to be that you won’t want to come inside, but when you do, you will enjoy the open floor plan with the living area and plenty of comfortable seating, including reclining leather sofas. The fully equipped and spacious kitchen perfect for meal preparation and dining; all with a view and perfect for a large family. \*Two Queen Guest rooms with a shared bath and include space for the washer and dryer, are on this main level. \* The stairway leads to a loft that has second living space to relax with a desk and a futon/sofa that would provide extra sleeping space. The king Master bedroom is on this upper level that also has a queen bed in it that can work well for a family. There is a spacious full bath on this level as well. \*Outside on the ground level is an outdoor hot/cold water shower for rinsing off after your time on the beach, a Gas grill, Fish cleaning table, a covered car port and plenty of parking, locked storage area for your beach equipment, and even another full bathroom. It is so nice to be able to take our dogs to the beach, have campfires on the beach, and have the beach nearly to ourselves. We have stayed in many different beach houses in the area, some on the beach and a few second tier houses. This house was not directly on the beach, but there is still a beach view and a boardwalk to the beach right in front of the house. It was very easy and short walk out to the beach. The house was pet friendly and had everything we needed. There were some beach supplies, books to read, and games in the house to keep everyone entertained. This house is comfortable and well stocked. We had no complaints with the AC keeping up which was a great relief from the heat of the day. We love the close proximity to the beach and wide drive and covered parking for the boat. This home is in need of some TLC and general maintenance. It is advertised as a 3 BATH. I specifically called and asked about this before renting and was told there was an extra bath on ground level for use which in fact was not available. It was great for separate families. The upstairs was prefect For my family with small kids. It was an easy short walk to a wonderful quiet beach. The only issue is that there was a lot of construction next door and across the street. This put a damper on our use of the beautiful screened in porch due to a ton of noise starting at 7:30 Am until 6 PM. When in the house the construction noise was not bothersome. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Sandy Acres. The house was exceptionally clean and well kept. After staying in the CSB/IP area for several years the short trip to the beach was very welcomed. If you need extra parking, this house has it. The kitchen was stocked better than any house we've ever rented and the Weber grill worked flawlessly. A bathroom in the lower was a great idea as was the outdoor shower. I will mention 2 items that renters from 8/2023 on and for possibly the next year need to be aware of: First, they began construction on the lot next to Sandy Acres during our stay and drove in 16 pilings. There's only 15 pilings, but they had to do one twice. I'd guess there will be construction going on there for the next year. Second, during our stay a Florida Cottonmouth took up residence in a bush next to the driveway. I only mention this as a concern if you have pets. We spent the days walking on the beach, riding bikes, paddling our kayaks and sitting on the porch reading. And watching the ocean skies. This was our first trip to the area and we loved our visit! The private beach, with the closest neighbor being 500 yards away, was a huge draw. We usually go to 30A, and rows of beach chairs are three deep. It was fun to fish on the beach too! The house was so well stocked with everything we could need, including spices. Little dissapointed that some of the furniture pictured on the Lanai was missing and replaced with less desirable furniture. Master bathroom needs attention. My wife would not take a bath in the jetted tub due to mold or mold stains on the grout plus the dirtiness of the motor housing compartment ( panel kept falling off exposing the inner workings).
