Dryer did not work property. Thermometer waa dixed to only go to 69 degrees. Condo was very hot at night.Rhe chair rental company takes up all the beach area , they are expensive to rent. They put chairs on all the beach in front on resort so no one had room to enjoy the beach.Tv temote waa missing from queen room so you could not watch tv.some necessities needed for kitceh were not supplied for cooking.Called to report dryer and remote nothing was fixed. We stayed a week.The elevators for awful , no air of any kind and you always had ro wait forever for one , because there were 2 elevators with 21 floors with 10 plus rooms per floor. ##### Bobbie S. Things under the couch from prior rental. Was not cleaned well at all. Floors filthy . West wing is a nightmare to get into. Will never stay at splash again. Updating would improve the condo. No drop off area for elderly in front of Splash. Do not recommend Had to re write my review and leave some things out. I did not receive a trustworthy relationship with the rental company. However, only 2 elevators for each tower with 21 floors and 7 condos per floor is not enough. You will waste more time trying to get in and out of your condo. This was a last minute book for our family, so the negatives are on me for not checking better. Nice place for families with small kids but wouldn't stay there again for my family. ##### Jennifer B. Séjour de 4 nuits en juillet 2022 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Julie H. 24 juin 2020 Points forts : Propreté #### Beach is beautiful, room is a bit shabby Location and proximity to the beach was wonderful! Beach had some great low spots for little people and water was fantastic. The resort is a bit dated and hard to navigate if you don’t know where you are going (check in). Great ocean view from the room. However, the room needs maintenance. Our curtain in the master was coming off the hooks at the top and wouldn’t fully close, master mattress pad was ripped and pulling off the mattress, bed skirt was ripped and dragging on floor, stained box springs, headboard looked pretty beaten up with scratches and finish worn off, bed/headboard was very creaky, only very firm pillows throughout, comforter was stained, but mattress was comfortable and sheets were clean. Paint throughout was scuffed up, including chipped paint on kitchen cabinets, garbage disposal was broken and had a lodged piece of plastic stuck in it, icemaker didn’t work, cracked drinking glass in cupboard, no salt & pepper in shakers and only 1 dishtowel. There was a good amount of pots & pans, basic utensils. The kitchen knives are very cheap and we struggled to cut with them. The blender base had a crack in it which made it hard to secure, but we still managed to use it. It too should be replaced. Sofa had stains (some looked like they could be removed if cleaned) curtains leading out to balcony were ripped and tattered at the bottom and one of the poles to close was broken off, patio furniture was well worn and small holes in seat covers. Kitchen table was sticky, living room furniture was scratched, and finish worn off. Remotes to tv missing covers to the batteries. Needless to say this place needs maintenance, however it was clean. The water park was the reason we stayed for our 20 month old. However, there is a large bucket that dumps water overhead that is too aggressive for young children. Our local water park has a similar feature, but it dumps out far less water and is diffused which leads me to believe this one needs maintenance. Pools were fine, but pretty crowded, so we mainly stayed on beach. Also note, we looked at several units at this place that promised 2 beach chairs & an umbrella, unfortunately this one did not which I didn’t realize until we got there and had to rent them for a fee. Double check the description on the unit you actually book. Overall, we would not stay at this property again, and hope they fix all above issues.
