Cottage had everything we needed including a few beach towels- if you forget yours-an umbrella, beach cart and skim board. Pool is just a few steps down the street, however there is zero shade at pool but it was always refreshing after the beach. A convenient gas station is on the corner for snacks and drinks-which we went to daily! Food trucks close by and Port St. Joe/restaurants just 15 minutes away. Much calmer, more relaxed beach area than PC, Destin and Watercolor. St. Joe state park is definitely worth a day trip for beach, fishing and swimming. Absolutely beautiful with a few restaurants and small food shops. We loved our stay and it was plenty big for 6 of us (4 adults/2kids). ##### Debbie R.
